Alright so I'm not sure which to go with...

Both Rough Country: Either a 2.5 level kit or the 3.5" Lift Kit | N3 Shocks | Dual Rated Coil Springs Suspension?

I've got the 2020 sport, with low profile fenders I installed, a steal front bumper with winch, and a RTT (roof top tent) on the back. I'll be running 35x12.5 BFGs after the level/lift. I don't do heavy off-roading (mainly overlanding) but some here and there and have bottomed out the tail a couple times (which is a big desire for increase clearance and wheel size). It's my daily driver as well. Due to space/time/etc, I won't be installing either of them my own. The best price I've gotten quoted is about $900 for the level and $1500 for the lift (out the door).

I know a lot of guys don't like RC but for the price and what I'll use it for, I don't foresee a big issue with the lower quality parts.

I appreciate the thoughts and help!

I’d do the lift. It will affect your MPG a bit more than just the level, but you likely knew that. It’ll pick up the back end a bit and in my opinion be a better look. Price seems a little steep but not out of the ballpark either. I’d likely do Clayton front and rear springs, Mopar end links and lower control arms, and either extensions or Bilstein 5100 shocks. Puts you around $1200 plus maybe $400 for install.

900 for a level kit installed is pure robbery. Even 1500 for the lift seems steep. Why not do either yourself? It's really not hard. Especially the level kit. Can save yourself a ton of money.

I’m sorry to be the first to say it but I wouldn’t do a 2.5” level kit or anything lift from Rough County. They are the crap of the crap and anyone that chimes in in defense of RC is going to be an owner of it that takes offense. Exaggeration? Yes a bit! But they are a total shit lift company. They are the bottom of the barrel and the only time I would ever use them would be for a cheap beater jeep to drive around in the woods. That’s it!

There are several company’s that will give you an inexpensive 2.5” lift that you can then convert to a much better lift with the remaining components down the roads. Rusty’s and Clayton’s both have fantastic starting points. Hell Mopars lift ain’t bad for the price if you’re in a budget and that 2” mopar nets 3”!

When I had my gasser rubicon I did 1” of the terraflex leveling kit and that made it level. A 2.5” leveling kit will not be level in front and will throw off geometry. If it’s got 1” pucks for rear it’s just more shit. In that case just save more money and wait until you can afford a real lift.

Just my 2 cents, I’m sure others will bash me.

For what you want to do I would suggest the Mopar 2" lift. I put one on my Sport Max Tow and ended up with 3.25" in front and 2.5" in the rear. I've been very happy with it. It rides good on the street and off road.

I paid around $1250 with free shipping though it's probably a little more now.

Here it is with Rubi take-off 33" tires.

Looks great! Does your truck have a rake? If not how did you level it? I have a JTR and want to find a solution to getting rid of the rake with the mopar 2in lift

So I'll bet the 1st in re-guards to tampahoosier, I'm good w/my RC 3.5 coil lift. I also added 3/4" spacer in rear, front lower control arm brackets, dual steering stabilizer kit, Johnny Joint adjustable track bars, Rock Jock carrier bearing drop kit. Rides great, handles great. Works great for me, as well as many others. It leveled it, that's why I added the 3/4" rear spacer. When it's NOT single digits freezing cold outside, it rides great. Maybe down the road I'll change the shocks, no hurry. There's so many choices, it's hard to decide. Get what fits your budget, works for you, & makes YOU happy. Not everyone can afford, what others consider reasonable. I'm one of the lucky guys that had the time & enjoy doin it myself. Good luck & enjoy makin it your own!

I did not level it. There may be a slight rake but hard to tell. If there is a rake it is definitely less than the rake with stock springs.

A lot of folks use the Tereflex spacers with the Mopar lift to get rid of any rake.
