He joined just 21½ hours before making the thread. Statistically speaking, he's only been "active" for 27 of 123 hours he's been a member, or 22% of his registered time. He's been "inactive" for at least 78% of his total registered time.

In this thread, he's only been online enough to see through post #8. Since we're on post #54, he has only seen 15% of his own thread. He's been "MIA" for 85% of the replies.

...I have no idea if any of this means a damn thing, it's just fun...

Maybe he's into "drive-bye by ranting"?

This video popped up on my play list. Figure it is worth showing. It shows much of what the thief's are doing. What saved the JT is that the owner puts his key fobs in a faraday box. The thief's try to ping the fobs and can't get a response.

This has me wondering: what is the smallest, simplest part which I could remove from the Jeep overnight to prevent it from running if I had to leave it in a shady area?

Funny story from the era of distributor caps: While hiking, I removed the spark plug boot from the ignition coil and left it resting on but not plugged into the coil, so it looked connected but it wasn't clicked on. I also left a note on the driver's seat saying that I already took out the valuable stuff, etc. On return I got in and drove away. It turns out the spark was jumping the gap where the boot wasn't plugged into the coil, until finally the boot fell off and the engine died. Found the problem quickly, including a hole burned into the side of the boot. Wrapped in some electrical tape and reinstalled and it was good to go for the rest of the trip.

And I think every JT needs hood locks, and the computer set to alarm if the hood is opened.

Jeep engineers must live in Candyland to leave the hood completely open to anyone. Is anyone surprised by the amount of attempts? It's free pickings. Screw the tires, lifts, etc. Every first mod should be some type of hood lock
