I've rummaged through every target, walmart, and chain drug store I've been in for the last three months. These things are hard to find! Thankfully my wife grew tired of watching a grown man spending so much time in the toy isles and ordered me one - which was promptly commandeered by my 4 yo.

I didn't know they made gobi... maybe I need to start shopping at Kroger.

Wow I must luck because just from my local Kroger's store dump bin, I have 3 red and 2 gobi. The last gobi was on sale for .88 Now I've not seen both at the same time. Got the reds a couple of months ago and the gobi started showing up a couple of weeks ago.

I found a Gobi one today at Walmart, it was "hidden" at the back.

Looks like some people are profiting of them on eBay, there is a good few for sale there at vastly inflated prices.

I think I have found 8 red at Walmart over a stretch of time, my wife just found 1 Gobi at Walmart today.

I just picked up another red one from the same Kroger I've gotten all mine, except for the one my niece snagged me.

Has anybody seen this yet? I saw it on granatoys.com tonight but have yet to see one in the wild! Looks very cool to me.

I got stupid lucky and found one in Gobi and a old Willis truck in sand both are parked on my dashboard. I might do some mods to match mine better
I think that whoever is selling them online must be from N. Alabama due to how many stores are cleaned out of matchbox cars.
