Good morning Everyone,

I installed the AEV 2" spacer lift with the Geo Brackets, I noticed the drivers front coil has a bow out in the middle. I went back and dropped the lower shock and sway bolts to make sure the spacer and coil are seated properly and they are. I loosened the track bar up on both ends with the vehicle on the ground and retightened. Has anyone else noticed this? Is this due to not having an adjustable track bar?

Thanks for any input!

You could replace the lower spring perches with Daystar KJ09179BK they correct the spring bow. Cheap on Amazon.

I think your next strep should be a call to AEV.

I had the same problem with bowing after lift install. I ordered the correction perches from MetalCloak and all is good now.

Somewhat related question - where did you order the kit, @MojaveCT? Looks sold out to me.

Hey there, so I ran the AEV kit on my Wrangler and plan to on my Mojave. Definitely no spring bow. Are you sure you have that upper spacer in correctly and indexed so the little fingers go into the perches? I also couldn't-more-highly-and-immediately recommend a Synergy front track bar. My handling SUCKED on the JL until I got one. It may fix your bowing. The stock bar is too short and the rubber joints cant handle the amount of force on them after a lift. I put one on the Mojave stock the week after I bought it and I could tell the difference. Their joints are so good.
