I will allow that to set up overnight and evaluate it in the morning.

Next was the reinstallation of the horns. Honestly, Ripp recommends installing one by the battery and the other by the ECM. I attached both horns to the washer fluid tank mount. The supplied extensions were "just" long enough to work.

Then it was time to get to work on the grill. It calls for some trimming, but the first step is removing the mesh panels on the back. This provides valuable clearance for the fat intercooler and should also allow increased airflow.

It gives the front end (I think) a new, distinctive look.

I will very soon be addressing the air pipe from the supercharger inlet to the air box.

I will have the option to use the supplied (smaller) Ripp unit or stick with the Flowmaster piece. I want to use the larger of the two after a thorough cleaning.

Nope...I gave that up many moons ago. Once, I woke up hugging a manhole cover in AnGin-Ri, Korea. My head was spinning and I had no idea how I got there, where my car was or anything. A bunch of little people were standing around looking at me. Not an experience I want to repeat. All this after a promotion party that ended up with the MPs arresting some of us, broken things, and me having spent every cent I had.
Nope, I don't drink anymore!
I think He was speaking of running the Jeep on alcohol, probably E-85 🤔😳

Close-
I meant adding alcohol/water injection to the theoretical setup I was hypothesizing about. For higher boost levels, the addition of the mixture quiets detonation and adds a lot more oxygen to the combustion process.

can't you use the new grill from the current model? I thought it flows better air through it. I swapped my 2021 to the new grill and im running a AMW 392 hemi, seems to keep temps lower

IF forged pistons, rods and crank plus head studs were available off the shelf I would use them at a rebuild. IF RIPP offers smaller charger pullies then fuel and a tune would be the next hurdles, easily solved, A boost referenced Methanol injection kit could be installed now if you have room for the tank and would be a great addition, check Snow Performance,
I have used Snow performance in the past...Good stuff

Smaller pulley, been there as well, and with a Vortech unit.
Here's something I haven't seen done yet: Compound superchargers.
We do this all the time with diesel engines. But no one does it with superchargers. Something like this Vortech unit could feed a magnacharger mounted on top of the motor. All the parts are there...
And as for off-the-shelf forged parts, they are readily available. Less than $3K buys you a set of Diamond pistons, Carillio rods, bearings, rings, pins, and head studs.

For simplicity I would check with RIPP about a smaller pulley. I have an A&A centrifugal charger on my Corvette. Every .2” smaller pulley makes 2 lbs of boost and every psi of boost is 20 hp in my application. You can probably get all you want with the RIPP unit. I run methanol injection boost referenced. The octane helps detonation and the cooling effect is something you can feel.

Today, I definitely got this thing close to being completed.

I started with reworking that airbox. The fiberglass patch took well and, on its own, would have sufficed to make this part work. But I wanted to finish it, although you will never see anything. I roughed it all up with a flap disc, then applied standard body filler, sanded it and applied a second coat. All that sanded out perfectly, so I painted it black and called it done.
