2022 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon Ecodiesel passive entry not working.

I've had my gladiator for 18 months and the passive entry has been working perfectly until now. A couple of days ago, it randomly stopped working. I changed the fob battery and tested my spare key fob. Same problem. So it's not the key fob. I can tell the car is connecting to the key fob because the little LED light on the key fob lights up every time I try to use the passive entry lock / unlock, but nothing happens. The Jeep is detecting that the key fob is nearby because the Uconnect screen turns on. It's connecting, but it's not locking / unlocking the door (both driver and passenger door).

Everything else works perfectly. The lock / unlock buttons on the key fob work, the start / stop engine button works. The passive entry doesn't work 90% of the time. I can sometimes get it to work by trying it multiple times. Anyone else had this problem?

Mine seems to be a different problem. Both the drivers and passengers doors stopped working simultaneously.

I'll double check the physical work order in the morning. My app just shows diagnostic system test/miscellaneous. Previous threads suggested the door connector pins were bent/broken but I sadly haven't removed my doors yet. The pins were not my problem.

I’ve never removed my doors either. I haven’t done anything to the Jeep recently. This problem just appeared out of nowhere.

Try a system reboot, disconnect both batteries for about ten minutes. Depending on which head unit you have, it can take up to 24 hours for it to return to normal operation.

Does the remote lock or unlock work when you press a FOB button to lock or unlock the doors?

Otherwise, what Mr._Bill said

Yeah the buttons work fine.
Well that combined with the fact the dash lights up sensing the fob, and the light comes on on the fob proves the antenna is seeing the fob and signals are getting passed that way for security.
And it proves the locks themselves are powered and working.

Yeah all the hardware seems to be working. I’m thinking it’s a software issue. I will try to reset it with the battery disconnect method.

Did you check the Passive Entry settings on the touchscreen? Make sure they haven’t changed?

Yeah I checked it. No changes since I bought the car. And it still works sometimes if I stand there and keep trying.

Mine stopped in the passenger side. Took it to dealer and they told me the pins were bent and that it happens when you take the doors off. I have never taken the doors off, so I know it wasn’t that.

Here is the work order. Again, just my driver side wasn't working and my key fob buttons were operating the locks just the passive entry wasn't working.

It shows they checked for bent pins and then replaced door handle. Hope this helps.
