My first jeep and I read conflicting information about LSD and non.
What oil will I need to do both diffs and the xfer case?
Vehicle has 46k miles unknown history.

Thanks!

The best guidance is in the owner's manual. From our 2021 Mojave manual pg 492
Automatic Transmission – If Equipped
Use only MoparĀ® ZF 8 & 9 Speed ATF Automatic Transmission Fluid or
equivalent. Failure to use the correct fluid may affect the function or
performance of your transmission.
Manual Transmission – If Equipped We recommend you use MoparĀ® ATF+4 Automatic Transmission Fluid.
Transfer Case We recommend you use MoparĀ® ATF+4 Automatic Transmission Fluid.
Front Axle Differential We recommend you use MoparĀ® Gear & Axle Lubricant (SAE 75W85)
(API GL-5).
Rear Axle Differential (M220 Sales Codes DRE/DRF)
We recommend you use MoparĀ® Gear & Axle Lubricant (SAE 75W85)
(API GL-5). Models equipped with Trac-Lok Limited Slip Differential
require a friction modifier additive.
Brake Master Cylinder We recommend you use MoparĀ® DOT 3 Brake Fluid, SAE J1703.
Power Steering Reservoir We recommend you use MoparĀ® Electric Steering Pump Fluid.

Thanks. Sadly the manuals not with the vehicle. Just got it a month ago. With the locker axles we wouldn't have the LSD model correct?

Right, the friction additive is due to how the LSD works. The locker doesn’t need that.

Does everyone use Mopar? Or should any good synthetic be sufficient?

Sorry for sounding dumb. I figured it's easy enough to work on the jeep myself and not pay the shop. I'm seeing 75w90 at the store. I assume that's fine?

I think most of us that do our own work don’t use Mopar branded fluids. As long as the fluid meets the specs then it’s fine. On my ā€˜20 JTR I used Valvoline fluids for the diffs.

That's what I am looking at. The squeeze packs. I assume the 75w90 is good? Can't find 75w85

Most brick and mortar stores will not stock 75W-85. Most people just go to a 75W-90. If you do both front and rear diffs, will need to buy 4 quarts as you will use just a bit less than that. That is assuming you have factory steel diff covers.

Two quarts of ATF+4 fluid will cover the transfer case.

Plenty of Youtube videos showing how to do it. The diff covers have a reusable gasket and if reusing the bolts and not installing new ones, do not exceed 25 ft-lbs of torque or risk snapping the bolts off.

For me, it depends on what the item is. Some things only the MOPAR stuff, but I've done enough differential work over the years, I'm good with a fluid that meets or exceeds the MOPAR specs - gotta be careful, though, with that double-ball pinion bearing. They seem to be more picky, so I used the best I can find.
I have some Valvoline hypoid gear lube in my cabinet.........

Thanks for the info!!
I may have made a mistake. I see on the packaging of the Valvoline that the gear oil contains LSD additive. For conventional and LSD diffs. Did I screw up??
They don't seem to offer an oil without it ...

It will work fine. Many of the better fluids work in either.
