I never thought today would be the day - maybe next week some time. Even then I expect some hints or lead-up from Jeep's twitter or instagram accounts in the days leading up to it.

Also expected something... But yeah. The 29th was the last date scheduled for the NY Auto Show, so I guess that's the back of the bookend. I was cool waiting until today, but nine days of disappointment is a lot to take in.

I don't know how Twitter works exactly (I'm a millennial, but forums are about the only social media I engage in), but yesterday morning Jeep tweeted "The real adventure starts at dusk." with a picture of a... I don't know what they're called.... One of the not-"Jeep" Jeeps. Maybe there's a dusk trim package or something on some other vehicle??? I kinda thought it was foreshadowing, but then... A whole lotta crickets between now and then.

Twitter should be called Twatter because that’s what it’s full of. ? I’ve never used it either, it’s useless. More useless than Instagram.

K. So, day is pretty much over. East coast where the show was supposed to be reached EOD three hours ago. Central hit EOD two hours ago. We hit EOD an hour ago, and west cost is done. Nada. Probably nothing tomorrow I'm guessing since it's a weekend. Or will they? Freaking groundhog day for the next nine days...

Supposedly the 2022 Jeep Commander destined for the Latin America market will be officially unveiled on the 26th. Maybe that won’t be the only thing announced that day?

Don't plan on replacing my current JT, but very curious about the MY22 options and packages that will be offered.

One thing I noticed in the last two order guides is that Max Tow Package in now only offered on the base Sport and none of the other trims. This might be an attempt force customer to purchase the more expensive Rubicon and Mojave trims when some of the the standard feature in these trims are not really what the customer wants or needs. So I'm wondering if the Max Tow Package will even be offered on any MY22, but conderictary, the Sport S and the Willys trims have gained some options not previously available that could take away from upper trim sales.
