They wouldn’t even be mad because it would be one less person asking where their truck is and their profit margin on the lot would be in their best interest.

I don’t think I could do it tho, I would be terrified of another 3-4 delay due to supply shortages and I got shit to do and miles to drive lol.

I agree, I don't know how this affects their timeline going forward at all. I will be disappointed if MY22 becomes infamous for being short-lived and uninspired.

I'd guess it will have zero impact on their timelines. MY21 will be long in months but short in VEHICLES due to part shortages, MY22 will catch up in vehicles even if shorter in months. And, you're being far too generous to car buyers to expect ant MY to be "infamous" much less for being of short-duration.

Re: Instagram post, that makes me much more bullish on an announcement this week (so kudos to the Texas Auto Show shippers!) and bearish on major changes. Would anything super substantial be likely to be slow-played like that? I'm guessing colors, package tweaks, and 1-2 new trims.

I'm cheering for a 392 Hemi JT, because I still don't think a 4xe JT is practical from a payload/towing standpoint. It would be a useless pickup truck, unless they have a magic wand and somehow get 7,000+ lbs. GVWR doable in a midsize chassis.
