There's already been a 4xe Gladiator image teased so it would not be a surprise if that is what it is.
There's also the next gen "regular length" Gran Cherokee floating around for release sometime too.

Where is that tease image? Just interested in seeing it.

I love the idea of a 4xe but wonder what models it'll be available in and if a max tow option will be available. I'm switching to a Gladiator when 2022 orders open up and want 6500+ tow capacity with 1400+ payload. Hoping 4xe is capable of it but I'm feeling like that is asking too much.

IF a 4xe is released it wont get a high payload due to battery weight. I too would love to see a 4xe released, it would be my future upgrade. That or a 5.7 hemi hehehehe.

I wanted Sting Gray and even if Jeep did come out with 4xe and/or 392 for the JT I wouldn't be interested regardless because it's well out of my price range.

I am still interested to see what they come up with though! I'm guessing this announcement could be JL only though so I'm not holding my breath on this one.

I'm actually waiting for the JT 4xe. Planning on leasing and with the $7500 applied upfront it makes it pretty appealing.

If they actually show off a 4xe I don’t know what I’d do. I might seriously consider just ordering another car.

I don't believe the 4xe Wrangler payload was reduced compared to the 3.6

pretty sure if you lease, the dealer gets the 7500 tax credit, not you since you're not the owner.

When I contacted Gumpton a few weeks ago they confirmed that the $7500 credit goes toward the lease.

Google confirms you're right, but the articles also say the tax credit can be factored into the lease if the manufacturer chooses to do so, and they certainly have been with the Wrangler 4xe.

4xe Wrangler battery warranty is 100K miles. I wonder what a 4xe JT would be worth with 101K miles on it? ? Is it junk at that point, or is it designed to throw a ~$2500 battery in it & keep rolling?

Someone on the JL forum claiming an inside source is saying the announcement this afternoon is just for the Grand Cherokee 4xe
