I want to say it was midway through the 22 model year. I had a early 22 build Rubicon and it didn't have the safety plate. When I traded it in for my diesel that was built late 22 it did have it.

As for the new refresh features if they all carry over from the Wrangler, I would not want the power seats. I hate how slow the adjustments are instead of just slide and lock in place. Wonder if it would be able to be optioned out but I doubt it. ?
I think you are correct on the timing of that. I thought about it more and 2022 MY seems more correct.

Can anyone confirm if the diesel is 100% dead for 2024?

That grill if it flows more air I will take it. Anyone got time to overlay with existing?

color bumper, icky poo

i have color match fenders which im not really a fan of but i suppose might end up better over time as it won't have that black plastic sun fade. or do they not fade? i like the screen, bigger but not in-your-face annoying like a lot of newer cars seem to have.

Again, don't get excited as that's the HA version of Overland, an edition of Gladiator that comes that way. It existed in the last couple of model years - but odd that no one here seems to have noticed!

None of the other levels will have color-matched bumpers. That's only an example, the "high end" luxury Gladiator.
If you don't like it, then buy a Sport, Overland, Rubicon or Mojave instead.

I found this article on the Galdiator Refresh. It has photos in the article.

Surely JEEP has tossed out the half-baked Auxiliary battery setup with a better solution.

If this hasn't been dealt with in 2024 model, the legacy of the current factory DC power hack may cause some purchasers to select a Tacoma or even the more pavement-oriented Bronco.

If more juice is required, perhaps JEEP can do something like the 12v/24v configuration like JOHN DEERE used to have on the 4010/4020 tractors. It would also be really nice if the two same-sized batteries could be tucked up under the chassis in protective shells, one on each side for 50-50 weight distribution, on drop down trays for servicing. Longer and skinnier batteries of AGM or higher technology batteries without liquid so they can be positioned on their sides or other optimal orientation to get tucked up high as possible. Custom shaped batteries would be expensive to manufacture at first, just for JL and JT use. If engineered well, this might result in a new 12/24 volt standard that could be included in RAM pickup trucks and ultimately used in other brand trucks and vehicle models.

This concept would free up some space under the hood. Now you can decently install that ARB compressor you want. Or some other "stuff". Otherwise, just use the factory included ammo-box like, latched in place (removeable), weather tight box for tools, spare parts, etc.

Looks like very little changes. I do think the new screen looks really good!

Who would've thought the Renegade has become the brand flagship? I'll stick with the current grille.
Very true…but still better than the angry bird grill! Someone must have come up with those as a bet or hold my beer moment.

It's what you'd expect based on the updated JL that was unveiled recently. I'm still just not a fan of the revised grill.

Looks like the Northville Kroger parking lot. Great coffee shop next door to there. This same Jeep passed me the other day around town, while I personally do not like the HA trim pieces, I don't mind the 2024 refresh, especially the interior bits.

This is a Kroger parking lot shot of an undisguised (what looks to be) High Altitude '24 JT. What tells you guys that there are no powertrain changes for 2024? This could be just a V6 High Altitude in the mule fleet.

The fact that the front does not have camo tells me this was clearly on purpose to get some online buzz. It would not be in Jeep's nature to reveal a 4xe version even in camo. Jeep loves their reveals.

IMO these pictures tell us the 2024 Gladiator's aesthetic changes will be an updated grille and not much else. The interior adopts the new Wrangler cabin. That's all these pictures tell us at this point.

Exactly. There's nothing really definitive. Not even necessarily a 2024MY truck. Still has the old antenna. I'd bet it's a 2023 with some 2024 parts on it.

If they do bring the 4xe to the Gladiator I just found my next vehicle. I would love the idea of being able to drive my kiddo to/from school on just EV power and save the fuel for towing the boat on the weekend.
