Just came back from Ocracoke. Like stated earlier, momentum is your friend. Easy on the accelerator try to never hit the brakes. Assuming those tires are 12.50 or wider you shouldnt have any real trouble, certainly wouldnt think airing down any lower than 25 is necessary. I am running 35 x 11.50 on stock wheels and aired down to the low 20's and had no issues at all. The trickiest part is usually just getting on so make sure there is not a knuckle head too close in front of you that is gonna stop right in the deep stuff. The only really deep stuff I have seen is on the point at Hatteras.
