Just for thread info... I ordered the AEV Borahs for our Gladiator Rubi that is on order. After speaking with AEV, I ordered the JK version of the Borah which has a +4 vs the +25 to get "some" reasonable bit of a wider stance.
Just wanted to relay that option out here...
Any rub with this set up? I just put on AEV Servage II’s and it rubs on the lower control arm. Definitely thinking I should have went with the JK version because +25 on anything without the wider axels needs about 10 mm less offset if you ask me to be pretty close to perfect.

No. Not at all.

Trying to make a smart choice here. Really like the looks of the JT Rubicon with 37`s over 35`s both stock height and with the Mopar 2 inch lift. My concerns are drivability, every day city and Hwy, towing and reliability with 37`s. Will 37`s put to much strain on the stock drive train? I do not plan on doing any hard core off roading with the JT just mild stuff i have another off roader for the gnarly stuff.

Any JT owners with 37`s please share your experience. Thanks in advance.

I have a JT on the MOPAR 2" Lift. It has 37x13.5R20 Nitto Ridge Grappler (Load Range E) tires & Fuel Beast 20x12 (-44 offset) wheels. The JT runs solid and true. Comfortable ride. (yes, it is a Jeep) Solid feeling and the tires are actually as quiet as the WildPeak AT tires that were on it when purchased. No rub within wheel wells including in turns.

If you were to go as wide of a tire and as large (consider the weight increase and surface contact) I would recommend upgrading your steering stabilizer. I upgraded to a Falcon Adjustable stabilizer. A major difference, as the stock unit is weaker.

Regarding the above set-up: At highway speeds you do loose your 8th gear, as the driveline gear ratios are changed enough to warrant the transmission's requirement to use 7th gear to maintain speed and torque. Only going downhill will 8th gear engage. Using the "gearing formula" the JT (with this setup) would require a 4.596 ring & pinion. Vendors do not sell a 4.596 gear; your choice is either a 4.56 ring & pinion set or a 4.88 ring& pinion set. Technically, one probably should re-gear their axles to 4.88 because a 4.56 set is just a little off in ratio. Both of these sets get you closer, if not over, the driveline ratios that Jeep designed the JT to achieve. You may sacrifice some fuel economy, but if you want 37" tires on your JT (automatic trans.) to achieve stock capabilities, you'll look at the added expense of re-gearing and possible voiding any axle portions of a factory warranty.

How many of you running 37s also find that 8th gear becomes useless at highway speeds?

Yup...that's why I'm re-gearing to 4.88's.
Once my Jeep becomes a loan, and no longer a lease, I will be doing the same. :like:

Love my 37s and drove from FL to Va 1000 miles in one day and 75-80 mph like nothing. And the beefier brakes being a Ram 1500 rear suspension definitely makes a huge difference over the JLs and JKs really can’t compare.
