No Max tow comes with 4.10 gears. 3.73 gears are going to be a dog on 37's.
Didn't' realize you had the max tow. Looks like I will stay with 35's. Really don't want to re-gear right off the bat.

Think I can clear 35" x 12.5" x 17" tires on stock Willys without wheel spacers? Plan to do a spacer lift as well.

Yeah, that's about right 14.5 would be what I would think it would get on 3.73 gears. I get 17.2-17.6 around town on 37's with 4.10 gears. I would imagine it still goes but it has to search for 7th and 8th on 3.73s and I couldn't imagine towing with 3.73 gears. My buddies Overland feels like it's lost power on his 35's he's running, he's getting around 16.4 with those.
You’re right. It does hunt for 7th or 8th at times. It did so more before I recalibrated. I used something else besides the tazer. Surprisingly, now it does pretty well holding 7th at minimum. And regarding towing, I don’t do that nor will I sit here pretending I know what it takes to tow. Let’s just say, for my lifestyle this works out well. Work is 10 miles away. A few off-road spots are within 1-2 hours away from me.

First thing I installed was a RC 3.5 in lift. I know; not the best. It doesn’t the job for ME. When I installed the 35s my rear tire was barely missing the frame. This is why I went out and got the spacers. Had I gone off-roading like this, I am positive there would have been contact. I’ll try to find a pic of that. I took one a while back. By the way, I bought my 35s used. And my current 37s used. No issues and dirt cheap compared to paying $300 each tire.

I included 2 photos on stock tires with a 3.5 in lift before I got the used 35s.
And the 3rd is the rear tire.

I have a rubicon and currently run 35s. Is it safe to run 37s and daily drive it on stock 4.10 gears?

I switched from 35’s to 37’s not much difference when I had the max tow. No reason to regear imo…

37’s on my ‘21 diesel now… def no issues with it.
