It looks great! Is a 2" spacer life like AEV offers sufficient for adding the 37's? I mean vs a 2" suspension lift. Everything I have read seems like ok? Cheaper as well looks like
Since the Mojave has an upgraded suspension I used the AEV 2” spacer for mine to retain that suspension. When I wear it out I’ll decide then whether to rebuild those shocks or go with a bigger lift but at this point I think I have plenty of clearance.
I also think you’ll like the 37s better but you’ll also need to get 9” wide wheels to get a wider 37 than 11.5” which is kind of skinny for 37s.

Thank You guys! The Glad looks great! Mind is white as well! I think there is no doubt that the 37's look better! Glad to know you used the spacer lift as well. Did you have much reduction in power? Other guys recommend of course re-gearing. I do very little off road so really prefer not to due to expense of course. I'm not much of a mechanic to do anything on my own.

I went 13.5 because I like a wide footprint

I had no intention with going with 13.5s, but when I got that crazy WalMart deal 2 years back........I could never go back. I love the stance

Sorry for high jacking this thread, but I am a new Gladiator Willys owner with 3.73 gears. Previous Jeep was a JKU with 4.56 gears, American Racing polished wheels (17x9) and 35's. I decided to keep the wheels and 35's for the Gladiator. I bought and installed a Rubicon Diesel (2023) suspension on my Gladiator. I would like to put my 35's on the Gladiator until I save enough money for a re-gear, 37's and a lift. Is it safe to put my 35's on with 3.73 gears until I wear off some of the rubber and buy new everything, including a lift? I live in Washington, D.C. and do MILD off-roading in the area (mostly greens/blues). Thanks for your assistance!

I have 35s and 3.73. About 50k miles like this. It's ok. Acceleration is still fine. Highway cruising it struggles a little. It rarely goes into 8th gear.

Wheeling you'll be fine. You can always use 4 low.

May I ask what the RPM's would be with 35's on the highway? Just wondering. And thank you for your response!

Yeah I regret not buying a couple sets to flip, but I wanted everyone else to get in on the action. And we collectively bought the whole inventory. A win for everyone

Have you inspected them? I've had 2 JKs before this JT, and each Jeep's ball joints have failed under 20k miles. Upsized tires and actually wheeling will eat these ball joints in no time flat. If you're just cruising around on the roads, I'm sure it'll be fine, but the trails and kind of wheeling I do-- no chance.

If you told me you recently inspected them and they weren't both flopping around like a politican being asked a direct question, I'd be shocked.
[/QUOTE

I have inspected them and they are fine as of about 3K miles ago. Hard wheeling every weekend and a heavy foot on the skinny pedal will for sure wear them out faster then normal but they aren't gonna that quick.

I'm assuming you guys running 37's have all regeared?
nope... still stock 410s here on my Mojave with 37s... spent some time to find the lightest weight tire and wheel combo I liked... super happy with my set up! I did put some Synergy springs, little heavier rated front and rear, and a two inch longer rear spring to compensate for weight (winch, steel bumper, sliders, Decked with gear) now it rides a TINY bit higher than stock in the rear, perfect for towing the trailer in the pic!

8.5’s will help save the rims. It’s the minimum recommended wheel width by most tire manufacturers for a 12.5” tire.

I didn't regear mine. Still have the 4.10s and for everyday use it runs fine. My fuel mileage hasn't changed. I do feel a difference towing my ATV but for the amount of times I tow with it I can live with it. Fun fact I can still chirp the 37s with my 4.10s so it can't be that bad. Obviously the regear would be better but for my needs it's fine the way it is for now.

The Mojave comes from the factory with 33s on 7.5" rims. When I changed to 35s I went with 11.5" width so I could use the factory wheels. Eventually I'll go to 37s with wider wheels and a regear but that won't be in the budget for quite some time.
