So, I was sighing to have to go through this exercise about the imaginary 5.2 DPOHC VTECT TT HEMI...

And looked in my documents which are now complete through end of 27, and look what I found on the schedule for Dec of 2027 as a 27 MY

Of course, this will somehow mean I was wrong and the internet was right even though he hasn't said this But I'll do the right thing and post it for a few hours anyway.

Trying to make sense out of a bunch of info I hardly understand.

Is the LB the Charger, and this is showing a 6.2L with some additional atmosphere?

And is that a 6.4L JT in the previous sheet, or am I misunderstanding that.

Powertrain production schedule through the end of the year shows no 5.2 anything. It doesn't exist, and you can't just pluck it out of the air.

Same as the 6.4 Gladiator that's been "imminent" for two years, looks like it actually happens end of next year in a somewhat limited run, 2100 on schedule.

Same as the coming any day now see it at the autoshow, next week, in testing, etc etc. Hellcat Charger, runs end of next year, 43 cars, half of which are hilariously 4 doors.

By next fall I hope to have a spare house sold and have some extra money.

So. It would be a long shot, but don't think I won't entertain multiple avenues to get a factory 6.4 Gladiator if it existed

Appreciate the transparency JR. I know 2,100 is limited, but we all need to keep in mind that Jeep only rolled out 3,300 Wrangler Rubicon 392 Final Editions in 2024 (and extended about 400 units in 2025).

This sounds like there's a Convoy or 12-for-12 release coming in the next few months...

To be clear, neither of these are being built for 18 months, Dec 27. Which means in peoples hands like February? And in the public eye next summer.

I have limited knowledge on that side of the business - but I feel like as the odds of the JL/JT extending out that far go up, the odds of investing in a V8 variant Gladiator go up. The investment becomes more worth it if the platform lifespan extends.

And here we are. With a 6.4 Gladiator peeking in.
