4.10 Gears in an Overland

I read in another thread that someone said the 4.10 gears from a Rubicon would NOT fit in a stock Overland that comes with the 3.73 gears. Is this correct? If so, does that mean if I go up in tire size and want to regear, I'll have to get all new gear box, or axles, what?

Not sure why they would say that but people are regearing every model. You don't buy Rubicon gears, you buy whatever size you want and a master install kit with bearings and shims.

Rubicon axles would not fit as they are longer.

Many of the Overlands come with the Limited Slip differential, which makes regearing a little more difficult.

Mine says conventional differential rear axle.
