No.Thank you all. This is my 6th jrrp and never had this much trouble. Also this is all wheel drive not Jeep 4 wheel drive?
All Jeeps have 4L, but there's also 4H Auto (full time 4h) cases available in addition to that. If so, the t-case lever looks like this:Thank you all. This is my 6th jrrp and never had this much trouble. Also this is all wheel drive not Jeep 4 wheel drive?
To add to that, don't use 4h auto off road, it's clutch based and will eat up the clutch. All Jeeps have 4L, but there's also 4H Auto (full time 4h) cases available in addition to that. If so, the t-case lever looks like this:

4H (part time) and 4L are the standard though and are not meant for full-time operation.
In 1941?The early Jeeps the front wheels would pull a little faster than the rear wheels. Better tractio on steep climbs.
Been through that 4L shifting hell today. Was hooked onto my trailer which was strapped to the car I'm getting rid of to pull the car forward and out of the holes all 4 tires had sunken into, then to pull my trailer out of the way so another could get in and take the car.Transmission neutral, rolling just slightly and pull like hell. It will get easier as you use it, but since it's not synchro'd it's never really easy unless you happen to get it just right.
