Too much nozzle for the ole gal?Agreed on QT and Racetrac. Use both exclusively for my other cars currently, but the jeep can’t take it.
Racetrac also has great hot dogs for a road trip!

Flow rate is just a bit too much.. she hasn’t learned to chug yet.Too much nozzle for the ole gal?
Do not take the bait.Huh? you totally missed his point.
I'm with @Hootbro
There are a couple of stations locally I try to avoid and in one case, it's the pumps on one side of the island I stay away from. 90% of the time mine is fine, but at some of the older pumps - and you can tell by the nozzle and pump conditions, it's more of a problem.
How the truck is parked seems to matter as well. I always try to park with the truck in a certain position.
i've learned over these last 2 years to recognize local stations and pumps that may be more of a problem.
i tell my wife to look for U88 for her Jeep as those are always newer pumps at newer stations and the nozzles are better, not so abrupt.
Not sure how long they'll be selling U88 though as the EPA has problems with it in the summer.
If out of town, we avoid certain stations based on the appearance of the station and the pump and look toward places with newer pumps and nozzles.
it's really not that hard! Be observant. I know exactly what he means.
I always fill up to the next .5 or .0 after the auto shut-off, to make mpg calculations easier, so never more than a half gallon added. The 2020 always showed full on the Guage, but the 2023 reads just under most of the time. I don't want it to overflow or damage the EVAP canister, so I don't try to top it off.Weird, my 2023 rubicon seems to do the opposite. If I let it click off and stop it won’t show full on the dash .
If I then slow fill it, I can get another 2-3$ in.
Never once had it overflow.
it’s not like I can see gas is the full tube. It’s more that if I barely squeeze the handle it will keep filling.I always fill up to the next .5 or .0 after the auto shut-off, to make mpg calculations easier, so never more than a half gallon added. I used to top off the 2020 some when traveling. I'm more conservative now with the 2023. I thought the 2020 might be the last new truck I buy. It's like I got a do-over, so things are a little different this time around.it’s not like I can see gas is the full tube. It’s more that if I barely squeeze the handle it will keep filling.
in 2500 miles, I’ve never let it shut off at the click stop and see the gauge read full.
Even with my hearing losses, I can tell when it's starting to creep up and shut it down.I’ve had mine overflow about every week for over a year. It’s really annoying. I started watching the gauge with window down and slow to a creep when it gets to 3/4
Yeah that’s why I creep at the end. Listen for the bubbles. It still tries to sometimes though.Even with my hearing losses, I can tell when it's starting to creep up and shut it down.
