This terrible truth must be spread. Tell your friends! Tell the world. But not very loudly or the men in white coats will come.

Jest aside, thank god. Ive been looking for any solution where I didnt have to cut through my hood, or 3d print bits for proper fit.

This will do wonderfully. Take that Knik River!

I have this aFe snorkel. Had it about 4 months now. It works great, looks good. No cutting! And even more amazing it fit with my ditch lights. I have a SevenSparta light mount I got on Amazon, and it fits just under the mount. That was a bonus! I think my gas mileage also improved by about .5 or 1 MPG due to the way it rams air down the snorkel on the highway. I'll take whatever I can get!

And the ditch light mount was my only worry. Thank you!

edit: do they have one that is a double light mount, top and bottom? *crosses fingers*

That's a lot of money for a non-adjustable snorkel that's just going to fill your airbox up with debris. If the scoop was adjustable, I'd be all over it. However, it isn't, and that 1/4 hp "gain" from the faux forced induction isn't worth a box full of sand/dust/butterflies/leaves/etc.

I had an AEV snorkel on my JKUR with the AEV hood. It was quiet but didn't realize any performance benefit since I didn't follow others kicking up dust off road. My factory stock 2025 JT MojaveX with the 3.6 engine already draws cool "ram" air from an air inlet opening in the grill (passenger side) to the filter airbox (see pic below). Your JT with the 3.6 motor is probably the same airbox. Chasis dynometer tests of an aftermarket cold air box on the JT showed a loss of power over an unmodified factory airbox which is well designed and efficient.

I haven't looked in awhile, but as far as I know it's only a single light mount.

I’ve had one for years. You’re not a real overlander without a snorkel LOL

Can you help me understand exactly what you would want in terms of an adjustable scoop and if it could be a DIY mod? I have always admired snorkels from afar and am seeking to learn more. : )

The scoop intake on this model is fixed so that the incoming air is forced into the air box. Along with the air you’ll get debris. The scoop needs to be indexable so that you can point it to the rear of the vehicle to avoid collecting anything but clean (ish) air. I live in Northern Arizona where humidity is largely absent so dust persists, even on paved roads. My preference for a snorkel isn’t much different from this design in that it keeps the duct under the hood, doesn’t require cutting the hood itself, and moves the air box intake point up higher. I would add a Donaldson pre-filter instead of a scoop.
