Have a Mojave with AluCab Canopy and Rugged Ridge HD rear bumper. Looking for ideas of aftermarket amber backup/prerunner lights. Do not want to mount from bottom of bumper. Will be running off the OEM aux panel. Have looked all over WEB and can't seem to find anything.
Thanks.

How about some KC HiLites V2 Cyclone lights. I use these for my rock lights, under hood lights and inside my Alu-Cab canopy. Here's how I installed them as replacements for the Alu-Cab canopy lights and I'd bet you could do the same if you were willing to drill some holes in the bumber (I modified these to run the wire out the side so that I wouldn't have to put holes in the canopy):

I also did something a little different for the rock lights; I bolted them to some rare earth magnets and stuck them to various out of the way spots:

I've done this on my JTR, my JKUR and a buddy's JKUR and never had one "fall off" in probably 4 years of use.

Food for thought...

I had a previous work truck that had a bunch of amber Whelen TIR3 light heads and I pulled them off when we got rid of it.

They aren't the cheapest lights, but you definitely get what you pay for. These things have been going for nearly 10 years without any issues.

I'm planning to put 4 of them on the rear of my Alu-cab for chase/fogs. They are crazy bright, especially straight on.

I got over putting holes in my Alu-cab pretty quickly lol, it just made things a lot easier.

I replaced the 3rd brake light and moved it off the door. I'll be putting the light heads next to it, 2 on each side.

I also added a pair of Diode dynamic sc1 floods into my bumper for reverse/scene lights.
I wired the red back light on the sc1 to my running lights as well.

I also made a couple of brackets and added another sc1 flood on each side. These work really well as Camp lights or just general work lighting

I do like these lights a lot. KC sells a surface mount (which I showed) and a flush mount option as well as different colored lenses. So if you get tired of white or amber then buy a set of different colored lenses. They sell them individually or in packs of 6; the pack of 6 is under $20 for a whole new look.
