I wonder how hard it is to take off the back part—and how stowable it is. Looks like it has its own frame? And utilizes door surrounds?

can we all agree to stop calling it a "man bun" those two words dont belong together...no self-respecting man has that. And if they do they're probably a decepticon..so not something I want associated with my truck.
Haha! What should we call it? Everyone knows exactly what we are talking about with two simple words. I'm all about efficiency :giggle:

My Ryobi cordless ratchet with torx socket makes quick work of those 4 bolts. But, like you, I don't typically go too far totally topless. MN weather can be hit or miss as well.
So true. Use a tiny one for the windshield bolts. Thumbscrews are slower than power tools but faster than the baby ratchet, lol

The rain is sometimes random and the humidity here is so high that if the seats get wet they might not dry for a week. lol

Hey All,
What would you like to see in an aftermarket top option?

All I want is to be able to fold it down farther (doesn't have to go all the way to the bed, but at least closer). Would look better and be more of a full convertible.

If you do this, I will buy one almost guaranteed.

I have the Suntop Softop and I can remove the whole top in five minutes.

I want a gladiator exo-top. It would be easy to make and it would solve my issue needing a roof rack.

The factory soft top I can remove in 2 minutes.
Yes. I know what the time frame is for the factory soft top. It's not my first and only jeep guy! Maybe you should watch the video. Out JKU is in the background! Haha! I was just stating information for a soft top that isn't close to the same price as the factory that gives those looking for another option this top if they choose to do so. And I still have my hard top which I love. I like my hard top better, but the soft top was just an aftermaket option. It's a want. Lol

Thanks for the video. In your vid, did you say it can roll forward OR backwards?

You're welcome! Yes. I actually need to correct myself. You can roll it forward all the way to the windshield. There are two buckles up front that hold it. If you roll it rearward, you can only go halfway. If you go all the way to the rear, it is pretty much off at that point.

Thanks for the question so that I could clarify that.
