Anyone do any cool updates to their rig or camper system?

Due to family stuff and job hunting, my only update has been the new high capacity AEV diesel coils. Swapped them in about 500 miles ago and so far, big improvement in handling over the standard capacity AEV coils have been running prior.

Hoping to get out and use this thing soon.
I'm wondering how those compare to the Dobinson springs
The canvas panels are for insulation, and do an amazing job.
Agreed!

What’s everyone using for a camp table? I have the Expedition Essentials Exo Table (stove/table combo) but would like a real camp table. Goose Gear was supposed to come out with brackets for the Alu-Cab table but I think that project died.

We have the EE stove/table mounted to the back door. We use a Hellinox table sitting around camp. It is low so we sit with our plates in our laps, but it is easy to pack and convenient for sitting aground camp.

I took delivery of my ACCC last Thursday with the AEV DualSport 2.5" and their new heavy springs. Took it out for it's inaugural camp trip on Friday to the North GA mountains, starting at Charlie's Creek and then over to Tray Mountain on Saturday. Setup did excellent and very happy. Interior is still barebones w/ only my snowmaster fridge powered by 180w solar panel on top. There is an mppt controller that is to the main starter battery for now that AVO did but I'm going to replace that with a Red-Arc layout soon.

Took Tortuga out for the first time a couple weekends ago. I have only ever ground tent camped before and the comfort of the Alu-Cab is unmatched. I can't believe how secure and comfortable we were. This camper really is a game changer.

Also installed a Warn VR 10s winch using a warn winch plate and added the Warn low hoop this past weekend.

So I am 6'5" and found that I can sleep with the small hatch up, but sleep better with it down. The problem is, then my Dickenson fire place wouldn't be supper efficient. So what I did is installed a house HVAC register on the small hatch above the fire place hoping that when its down, the heat will rise. And with suggestions on my Instagram post, I think I may add a small 12v fan as well to pull the warmer air into the sleeping area.

Also had time to install the new GP Factor pressure vent. I live in a very wet climate and this is supposed to help with any condensation even though I havent experienced any yet.

Gobi Gladiator is nearing build date... looking to order an ACCC next week. Maybe if I'm lucky I can have the camper installed with some summer left over.

Question for folks here (as I pick out my order options) - what's the point of the solid blackout layer of the window screen kits? Bug screen, I get. I can't figure out why I'd want to zip down a solid fabric layer instead of just closing the back or side door.

I've been assuming I'll skip the Alu-Cab window kits and just fab up some simple bug screens, and stick them up with velcro. Don't see the need for the zippers, or the blackout panel. But curious if someone disagrees with that idea
For colder camping, I let down the blackout panels for extra insulation, for what it's worth. When it's warm, just keep them rolled up and out of the way. The fit/finish of the screen kit is great, but definitely recommend riveting them or the velcro in place, as the velcro adhesive will fail, even if you follow the directions for prep.

I was looking for a way to install a redarc redvision system w/ a 2000 watt inverter. I saw 813 design had a 3 piece molle system covering the water tank but I cannot find the item on the 813 design website. Was this just a prototype?

Looks like Steven_B beat me to the reply! Let me know if you have any questions with any of the Alu-Cab panels.
