Have you ordered just the front section? Curious what the price is since they don't list just the front section on the site. Since their full-length system is $1k, guessing it would still be around $800
Someone on one of these groups has the UpTop front portion on the truck with the Alu-Cab but I am not sure who it was. I am 99% sure he still had to modify it due to the camper since the rack comes all the way back to the edge of the Freedom Tops. He contacted them directly to get the rack and told them that it was for the Alu-Cab. I think he even said they mentioned making one to work with the camper.

Haven't ordered yet, but getting ready to pull the trigger. Just reach out to them and you can order the half rack. It's still pricey, starting at $999. I have an 83L Roam case I'd like to mount up there to hold some lightweight recover gear (straps, soft shackles, etc.).

The ideal solution for strength should have clamps going full length on the side like the full rack, but only the front as for the loading area.

I wonder how hard it is to come with a solution for that really.

Otherwise, I found this on Amazon:
DEE ZEE DZ4472JL Roof Rack https://a.co/d/iX4Lj3R

Jeep Gladiator Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Roll Call F1A5896B-404D-49AB-91D7-835FB8188DEB

It's not expensive compared to the other brands, even though we wouldn't need the full size. I wouldn't mount anything super heavy on it though.

Actually I also found they sell just the front load bars for even less:

DEE ZEE DZ4463JP Roof Rack https://a.co/d/gNVf7cr

But I was thinking about using it in some unconventional way: use the full-length bar and clamp it 3 times each side, 1 time in the freedom panel and two time in the hard top for better rigidity. Then only mount the two front load bar.

Mixing best of both world, but need to confirm that full-length bar doesn't interfere with alucab. Otherwise the short version for less than $300 is a solid bet IMHO.

Keep us posted if you do, it does seem like a nice solution. At least the front part but still kind of pricy. I am all up for some modification, to be able to use that front space, because other wise it just seems like wasted space, especially for someone who doesn't care about freedom panels.

I saw these as well, but they seem kinda ugly, but I mean you could do some mods to make them look nicer and more usable.

They're definitely not crazy looking. But they're also 1/4 the price of the uptop overland solution (full size vs full size). Probably lighter too.
People are running tents on those it seems so plenty strong for what we need them to do.

I have a few mods in mind already for those, let's see ✌

Alu-Cab Diesel Heater Install: Just completed this install and now I have nice hot forced air heat! :) FYI, these heaters cost less than $150. My JT is diesel so any fuel I carry has two uses.
Cheers!

Is that fuel tank vented in any way?

The cap is vented but the hole is in the top. I have it taped closed until I find or make a cap cover to prevent the possibility of water entry. It is under the overhang so it’s pretty dry in there. I have urethane foam pipe insulation between the roof and camper overhang to keep water out while driving.

Does anyone with some goose gear setup have some install instructions lying around?
I'm trying to see how they fix their drawers to the alu cab CC rail. I'm building my interior and looking for alternative ideas to what I have to see if I'm missing an opportunity to do better.

From videos online I managed to capture this:

Not sure if that's all they use all around, and only rely on the vertical feet for strength or what?

Modified/installed an Alucab canopy table bracket so that I can store an Alucab table under the sleeping platform of my ALCC. Table can be stowed/removed when sleeping platform is raised or lowered. I talked to the nice folks at AVO who had teased this mod on their instagram feed late last year. They gave me a couple great tips which saved me lots of time.

Did you paint the exhaust pipe or did the shop? I love that look! Mine is being installed on 2/28. I cannot wait to do some winter mountain camping.
