Whatever you want...I can supervise!
I sold 28 bottles of Napa cult cab to pay for the camper and awning. The rest of mods came from out of pocket. I am an engineer in real life and my wife is in education. Good salaries and no kids.
Yea, the old days of being DINKs...(Dual Income, No Kids...in case you didn't know).

What's everyone doing for camp tables since we can't use the Alu-Cab above cab brackets. I have the Expedition Essentials EXO table but still would like to have a prep table for the campsite.

And took a day trip out to the beach this weekend.

Awesome picture. Is that Pacific Beach?

I may have missed it in the these 16 pages so far, but does anyone have pics of a JT with the ACCC and a tier carrier bumper for 35s or even 37s?

I wish the door allowed the mounting of a 35 or 37......maybe someone has done it, I just have yet to see it.

I'm a little behind in my research and forum following.

I've seen someone with a Tacoma mount a 35", but I think it was a brand that ran a little small.

Do you have or are you planning to have something in the stock spare location? It will accommodate up t a 37" tire and better to keep that weight low.

Steven_B,

Trying to formulate plans. If I had my way, yes, I'd like an Aux tank where the spare goes now. Something like the huge fuel tank for the spare location on an LC200. Or a custom water tank to keep the weight low.

Mostly, I just wanted to see how it looked with a 37 on a bumper carrier. Without a tire on the back, the ACCC looks a little........camper-ish for me. With the spare on the door it seems more like an integrated unit. Yes, this is all about looks.....at the moment, but having a huge tank underneath along with the current LRA tank would be great. This would be overkill for anything I ever plan to do, but just having fun brainstorming design ideas.

Steven_B,

On top of my fun question, is there anything you wish you did right away with your ACCC install and fit out?

I’m actually exploring the ideal of where the spare goes to make some type of a round plate with a hinge that will lower , having a hard time deciding of using the space for fuel or tools and parts

Random question for ACCC folks, after reading about Gladiator hard tops that leaked around the rear window and filled with water. The ACCC seems like a very tight fit to the hardtop, and I assume it's impossible to remove the hardtop while the canopy is in place. So any hardtop service = forkllift, break seals, remove, service top, re-install, re-seal, etc.

When driving in the rain with the canopy, does the rear window get wet? I assume the overhang keeps the window and its seals dry when parked, but what about at speed?

We store dirty clothes in the area between the camper and cab when traveling. We have put over 15k miles on the camper and have only had the clothes get wet once when it was really windy. Generally that area is fine.

The only thing I wish I had done, was plan and utilize the space between the cab and the camper. I was in a rush to get it done for our booth at Overland Expo Colorado so I didn't do anything. I think mounting the water tank there or design a slide out Rotopax mount would have been cool.

Steven-b.

That is a great idea.

Will you have a booth at the Colorado Expo again this year? I live just a few miles south so it was quite a handy expo to attend.

We will, but we will mainly be showing the MITS Alloy flatbeds that we import into Australia. Alu-Cab should have a full display again that should include a built Gladiator. Cheers

FYI, AEV announced their 3" high capacity springs yesterday. I've already been running their DualSport system for months and have ordered the new springs to handle the added weight.

Gas motor springs should be available now, I have the diesel and told they should be available in March.

Any word on how stiff they are? Progressive rate?
Do coils from one lift usually fit others? I have a JKS 3” lift.
