Here are some photos of the RLD Canopy fit. Have had it on for 18 months and several trips to desert. Put a little strip of weatherstrip vertical down side of bed where tailgate closes and a piece of 6" wide bed seal joining the floor and tailgate. Seems to keep dust out very well. Have not had any issues with the fit. Also, I like the steel canopy, as I can attach lights, tarps, etc at camp with just a magnet. Also used magnets to help support the reflectix I put in ceiling and end. Very well built and pleased with it.
Believe ithey said it weighed @ 185lb without windows and just under 200 with windows. I never weighed it.

I like that weather stripping.
Do you have a link for the 6” wide bed seal?

A few weeks after I had my Canopy Camper installed, I installed a Brandmotion Fullvue rear view mirror. It was great since I could actually see behind me again. Since I was going to keep the camera with the Contour Canopy, I had to make a bracket to hold it. I decided to mount it on the inside for now.

When mounted on the outside and it rains, the camera lens gets a drop of water on it making it pretty useless. By putting it inside, it remedies the issue during the day. The drops of rain on the back window are not an issue. Nighttime rain can still be a problem, but better than nothing. I am going to rain-x the window to see if it helps.

I used 80/20 and a piece of sheet metal. I am going to make a new sheet metal piece so it is not hanging down so low. But it is working well so far. It is mounted to the hatch, so it moves out of the way when I open it. I will work on cable management next weekend.

Have any of you guys added a camera? I would love to see other mounting ideas.

I said 6", but when i looked at my prior order it was 4 1/4"! Guess my memory was off. It was plenty wide enough and has performed as designed since install in June 2021.

Looks like it is on sale now.

Meant to add that the weatherstripping you see in photo was what came on the canopy from the factory. It was attached to the entire base. The weatherstripping I used on sides of bed where tailgate closes is listed below.

The weatherstripping I used on the sides was OK, but a couple of short pieces came looses after time. I would probably try another brand if ever needed. But here is what I used.

I haven't found the visibility thru the rear window bad for street driving. I have a Tazer so I can always double tap the MUTE button on the radio to turn the rear camera on if I really need a full view of what's behind me. Cool mirror you linked though!

I would like to get a Tazer for the turn signal-camera feature. My issue a lot of times though is that I have bikes on the back which block the backup camera.

Anybody running an ikamper x-cover mini on top of their contour canopy? If so, can you provide pictures? I'm trying to compare how it looks versus the full size x-cover.

I have it and don't use it all that much. I find it hard to see from all the speeding traffic, especially at night due to the glare from all the headlights behind you. It's very different from just backing up. Maybe I just have to train myself a bit.

After months of deliberation and going back and forth between rsi and alu cab I finally placed a deposit down on a contour canopy yesterday through Asheville Vehicle Outfitters. They have them in stock, I just need to get my finances together over the next couple weeks. They were very helpful and easy to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone!
