Extremely noticeable in the snow. Not even over exaggerating. Curious how they do in the rain.

The difference is huge over the stock LED fogs.

Haven't had any snow here this year but we did get a bunch of rain. I really like the yellow in the rain. Seems like it cuts through the road glare and helps with seeing the road markings and whatnot.

I installed the KC Hilites Gravity G4 in amber a couple months ago. They are not as bright as the factory LED but definitely better in rain and snow. They also freeze over just like the factory headlights and fog lights in heavy wet snow, I am not complaining nor upset as I have had LED lights on several vehicles and they have all done the same.

Love the wall art!Wish I had shots of my rig when I drove through freezing slush. I came home almost entirely on the light from my DD SS3 cubes. Everything else was incased in ice

I think a big part of the reason why the Diode Dynamics lights don't ice over like other LEDs is due to the yellow lens. The light the lens filters out is converted to heat which causes it to heat up. Combine that with the heat generated by the powerful emitters DD uses and they run plenty hot enough to melt ice and snow.Wish I had shots of my rig when I drove through freezing slush. In comparison the stock LED fogs and even the KCs use a clear lens which generates little to no heat and lower powered emitters. Hence, they ice over easily.

Stupid question. I’m assuming you used the clip nuts to keep from taking apart the bumper. How did you get the clip nuts on the back of the bumper??I think it is this one I got mine at Storm offroad

I will have to take a picture. The bumper is like really thick blow molded plastic. I drilled holes in the front to slip the clip nuts on the outer piece of plastic. It is plenty secure I had guy use it as a step to look at my engine bay. I may have freaked out a bit lol

I got mine mounted. Scary drilling holes in a new bumper. Lol. The license plate I had picked out was too thick, but I don’t think people would really be able to see it anyway. Now it is time to buy some lights. Lol
