Driving an automatic does not automatically disqualify one as a MTC Member.Sorry guys, i was just told i am going to have to wait another 10-12 weeks, i cancelled my order and am buying a white auto off a lot tomorrow. You guys have been great and i will still chat in here with you as i still have 2 other manual jeeps.
Granted, they're still getting a sale out of you, but it's the principle.I was going to get one regardless, im just not gonna get jerked around like this, especially after i drove past the plant yesterday and could see orange gladiators sitting out thereDriving an automatic does not automatically disqualify one as a MTC Member.
I appreciate your unwillingness to accept their nonsense.Granted, they're still getting a sale out of you, but it's the principle.
Your dealer should put a clause in the sales agreement that when your original order comes in, that you can trade the A/T in, with no penalty and a substantial discount on the M/T.im not waiting 5-6 months to get a vehicle its not gonna happen

Nick, go buy the one (1) that was listed on here at the dealer. Fly there and drive it home! Or take a bus. Talk about an adventure!
I would find the one or closest to the one you wanted the furthest away from Michigan take a one-way plane ticket and road trip that sucker back home.Don't do it. Find a manual somewhere. You will regret it.
For shits and giggles I searched Cars.com for manual Rubicons in the country. There are quite a few listed, but there are two (2) problems. First, most of them have the generic computer generated pictures, so there's nothing to verify they are actually manuals. Second, half of the "manuals" listed with actual pictures of the vehicle are not manuals, but automatics. Always amazes me at how little attention to detail a dealer takes when listed these things. I'll tell you, if one (1) pops up with an option or two over/under what I am looking for, i'll be making the call and trip to pick it up.I would find the one or closest to the one you wanted the furthest away from Michigan take a one-way plane ticket and road trip that sucker back home.
I just found two (but they are white not black like he originally wants) took some time to find ones that are 'on the lot' and not 'in transit' or have a generic bullshit pic....For shits and giggles I searched Cars.com for manual Rubicons in the country. If it's on the dealer lot (or even some in transit with generic photos), they should list the VIN. Maybe even a link to the sticker. Enter the VIN to pull up the sticker or build sheet to verify MT (or any other build component):For shits and giggles I searched Cars.com for manual Rubicons in the country. That will never happen.Your dealer should put a clause in the sales agreement that when your original order comes in, that you can trade the A/T in, with no penalty and a substantial discount on the M/T.
