First thing I would do is if there isn't one add a Circuit Breaker under the Hood at the battery, Second add some Chaffing gear to that cable. it just sitting on protected on that knife edge is begging to burn the truck down!

Is it just my eyes but sure looks like the one wire is cutoff and the “hot” end taped up ?
Congrats on your Glady. Like others have said I would check where it is hooked up at battery, I have a feeling you will find it disconnected , but also trace how the wiring is run and check for rub locations or too close to exhaust. …Jack

For my feed for the 12 volt outlets on my 2022, I ran the wires inside the frame.
Not sure if there's enough room for larger wires if I run them in the 2025 for a connector for my trailer winch. It was rather tight in a couple of places where they had cross tubes in there.

Yeah, I'd never run a hot line kike that with no disconnect.
About your projects. .....keep in mind you can't die until they are all done. Maybe that's why my wife keeps starting new projects .......

Figured I'd show what I came up with for that spot. I 3D printed the housing for an Anderson plug the. Printed up a cover for it when not in use. Still have room to put another 12V something if I need to

Well that's nice and sanitary. Bust out the label maker and put something cute on there. 'Left Index Finger' and 'Right Index Finger.' :CWL:

If you are willing, and if that will fit the connectors I need to use to run a 2,500 pound ATV winch - I'll buy one of those setups from you. Not kidding.

I agree. This could be a nice little side hustle…for some Christmas money.

Ratings are in the name of the connector. Colors don't matter, you can get any of them in red or grey.

SB175 - 175amp
SB120 - 120amp
SB50 - 50amp

I've tried to nail down the load of that HF 2500 pound little winch for over a year - it has a break that is either 35 or 50 amp and I can't recall right now without digging and my head is swirling from the oxy pain killers and other reasons. Some say it can pull well over 100 amps, but the wire on the think would be lucky to handle 40 amps so it's really confusing. Nothing about the wiring or breaker that it comes with, or even the remote control box wiring suggests it will draw very many amps.

I'm only concerned with pulling non-running cars up the incline of my tilt-bed trailer, which would be a much less incline than using RAMPS.
Aluma says my trailer bed at full tilt is about 8.5 to 9 degrees.
So any winch would not be pulling very hard.
Man, I have to stop thinking, my head is spinning and throbbing.

Sure, I don't mind. What rating are you looking for? This is the 50A, but I have a 175A that I could probably model up and print as well. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to work up a couple of different configurations anyway.

My air comp has a initial draw of 90 amps and levels out around 60, but it uses 10ga wire which, according to every chart I've referenced, is not big enough for max draw and barely big enough for constant. It gets a little warm, nothing concerning.
