Inventory tag. It could show the part history. Is it the engine, or is it the intake. We had rfid tags on equipment that has an expiration date. Scan the code and the system knows where the part is and when it expires.

Might actually be a Radio Frequency ID tag for location tracking.
Yeah, I dug more after posting and that's what it likely is - an RFID tag.

Your picture shows that clearly and made sense to me.
Being radio frequency, if I cover it with foil do you think that will stop them from tracking me? :CWL:
I was trying to blow up the tag on the tube but can't quite make it out

That's what mine looks like; beige-colored cap on a hose. And my engine has never been touched by a dealership in my ownership tenure.

Check your inbox.
They are tracking you!
But never mind the giant display in the middle of the dash. That doesn't track anything. :lipssealed:

And Anna Nicole married for love.

Do you have your Gladiator nearby to read the part number on the tag?

The tube has the part number right there in clear daylight. I wasn't going to point the obvious. 5281950AB

I edit added the part number from Mopar to my last post.
I couldn't read it in the pick
Edit: I just realized that number is for the 6 speed manual. Doh!
Just checked it and your number is correct
