It's not a recall. It is a TSB. The Gladiators were also included.i believe there was a recall on the wranglers for this type to issue and its related to the aluminum body and steel hardware causing premature corrosion. My friend just had his doors repainted and corrected this year and it took them 6 months!!
I hope you get a better paint match than I got with my Gator paint. Thanks for writing about the TSB on paint bubbling. My 2020 JT overland is gator green with under 17,000 mi. and has the same problems. No hinge gaskets and bubbling on the hood and 5 hinges It's a shame, after spending $3,000.00 on a 9-year ceramic coating and paint protection film on a paint job that Jeep knew would deteriorate after 2 years. What are the odds Jeep will compensate some of that money in the body shop estimate?

Why should they? You chose to spend that money (which likely it isn't going to protect for 9 years anyway. Nothing is going to last that long and most problems happen when the finish is compromised or happens from the back side. You could keep things nice yourself for a fraction of that money. You bought an insurance policy, not protection. )It's a shame, after spending $3,000.00 on a 9-year ceramic coating and paint protection film on a paint job that Jeep knew would deteriorate after 2 years. Like I said - why is everyone acting like it's a uniquely Jeep thing?Jeep is ignoring corrosion issues unless a customer reports it under warranty. They are blatantly selling Jeeps knowing they have a huge corrosion issue. My 2018 Wrangler had it on all doors, hinges, and hood. It started after it was a year old.
This is a Jeep forum with Jeep owners. Why would a Ford guy come on here and talk about their Ford corroding here? And why is everyone blaming Jeep as if it's a unique problem?

Go google GM paint bubbling, Ford paint bubbling. You'll see a whole lot of pictures of the fronts of hoods on GM products and Ford products with paint bubbling off. It's happening on other body panels as well.
