Anybody else order a hardtop after JT purchase?

Yes I ordered one at the beginning of July and just kept getting the runaround, dealer said there was a big shortage at the factory. I eventually found one at a dealer about 5 hours away and paid to have it shipped.

How hard is it to add the wiring for the rear defroster if you’re originally came with the soft top? That was an issue with the JKs if you ordered with a soft top and wanted to add a hard top.

My JT had the hard top wiring kit listed on the build sheet/window sticker. I also popped off the cover in the back to verify the connection was there. Check yours out, you may already be good to go

4 months later, my hardtop came in. Just in time for the upcoming east coast winter weather. Love the look of the hardtop. Excited to live that dual top life

Primed hard top arrived today, took it straight to the body shop for painting. Can't wait to pick it up next week!

I ordered mine through the dealer when I bought my JT. I paid less than ordering it from Quadratec or Northridge 4x4, but both of those websites sell them. They are available primed or in textured black. I went with textured black because I like the way it looks with my Sport S black fenders.

Installed my Hotheads Headliner and Mopar trim panels today. It looks a lot better than the all white inside hardtop shell with holes in it
