You are entitled to feel however you want, but the warranty booklet has language that allows them to put in a reman or even a salvage part at their discretion.Just reporting back to this thread after getting my JT back this week. The dealership pulled off a pretty clean job, but should I be concerned or irritated that my service paperwork says they installed a remanufactured long block? I’d expect a reman if my Jeep was at the tail end of the powertrain warranty, but I only have 7k miles! On the bright side, it’s not knock(on wood)ing anymore.
I have no qualms with a OEM reman.
