Anyone else notice that while driving at night if you look in the rear view mirror all you see is the bright 8.4 inch screen reflecting off the rear window? Does that just happen to me or anyone else? For some reason it’s so distracting while driving at night. Anything I can do the stop that? I’m sure it’s just because the screen has no tilt to it and is a straight shot at the rear window. I’m weird. Thanks!

Could turn the screen off. Button on my Sport S is on right side of unit near station selector knob. I have the 7 inch though, may be in different location on 8.4....

Is the screen going to "night mode"? If you have your dimmer all the way up it will lock the screen in full brightness. I do this when off-roading in the woods to keep my screen at full brightness when the auto headlights come on and off (I suppose I could just turn the headlights off too). If I forget to turn down the dimmer brightness at night it is awful bright.

Unless I just haven’t found it yet on the JT, other vehicles I have owned the screen automatically changed to a dark theme when auto headlights came on. Dimmed it just right.

Mine auto dims, but when I first got my Gladiator the reflection of the screen in the back drove me crazy. Now I don't even notice it.

I was looking this morning and noticed the display in my rear view mirror, but usually I have enough traffic around I don't notice it.

But I guess in the same token I notice the center screen between my gauges reflected by my driver's mirror.
