Here's my '20 sports s with mopar lift and 1" pucks up front (to account for bumper/winch weight). Wild peaks. 35x11.5. I have the manual also and have not yet regeared. 35s is pushing it on the 3.73s especially with MT so I wanted a lighter tire but in a 35. It's fine but I will be going to probably 4.56s. I will say, over the 33s I had on before, felt like I was in a rolls. So smooth LoL!

You can if you want to but most tire manufacturers recommend at least 8 inch wide wheels to run 12.5.
12.5 wide tires are just fine on factory wheels. I’m running 13.5 tires on mine.
I’m surprised no one has mentioned Kenda tires yet. They have 35x10.50s in RT and MT.

My current setup is 37x12.50 Firestone M/Ts on the OEM Mopar steelies. No extra spacers or oddness was needed to get them to fit, although I suspect that with the sway bar unlocked, and at full steering lock/articulation, I would have issues. Still minimal poke, so I am happy. I wanted a flat contact patch, so I chose to run a substantially lower PSI than the skinny 35's I listed earlier in the thread. After 20k miles or so, there is no evidence that lower PSI has been detrimental in any way (inside or outside the tire).

If so, please post pictures and specs. Three years in and I think it's time to give her a lift and some new shoes. Thanks!

Current setup:
Tereflex 1.5" level up front
Rubicon front fenders
Factory Willys wheels with 33" Rubicon tires (Wild Peak M/T's)
Rubicon front bumper w/factory Warn winch
AFE DAS snorkel
Factory '24 grille

2 Inch Mopar and 37 KO2. I've had no problems and drives just fine.

Those wheels are AWESOME!!!!! Thinking about those had me running down weld on beadlock rings yesterday and dusting off my old spare. Just need to find 4 more and I’m in there like swimwear. I want to go for the 38x11.5 next time I do tires.

This is mine with 255/85/17 Baja boss with a 1.5” teraflex leveling spacer. I have a Mopar lift ordered. I’m hoping it’s going to end up with the look and ride I want with the lift.

Our Jeep is very similar to what you are looking for:

2022 Sport, non-MaxTow, 17x7.5 steel rims (original A/T tires were 245/75R-17)
with, Mopar 2" lift, Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T 255/85R-17, plus Synergy 1.75" wheel spacers, and a Teraflex front sway bar quick disconnect.

I previously installed the Teraflex 1.5" leveling kit, but I removed it when installing the Mopar lift. I added the spacers to 1) widen the stance, and 2) to eliminate a slight rub on the quick disconnect linkage.

The net increase in lift was a legitimate 5 inches, without the front leveler pucks.

38 x 13.50 on 2.5 lift.
Had to move front bumper forward.
There is slight rubbing on rear when full flex and at full turn/stuff on front.

Hankook Dynapro XT in 37x12.50r17 ... they run a bit skinnier on tread footprint than most 37x12.5 at/mt tires

This is on a Clayton 2.5" lift though with 0 offset wheels; for me it's just the right amount of poke

Thanks for this!!!!! Thinking of going to a 11.5 for my next set and wanted to know how different they’d be from the 12.5. Yes I know, “an inch”. But that doesn’t tell me how it’s gonna look. Any performance differences if you’ve run a 12.5?
