After a road trip to Indianapolis this last weekend to attend the B1G Tournament, I am not sure if it was all the 'out of towners' or what but I think I decided I need a louder horn. I am not looking for a train horn or something excessive but something to make myself known and let others know to stop being a jackass. What are your thoughts/suggestions on aftermarket horns?

Thanks in advance!

I was looking at hella horns offered via Griot's garage website.

I'm going to add a train horn when I add my onboard air though that's about 12 things deep in the mods list... Why the aversion to a train horn? Gives you an excuse for onboard air ;)
Good thing you're not in Tx. The wife's a DOT inspector and advised me If I did this I wouldn't pass inspection. I actually thought about it though.

I thought you were free men down there in TX... I'm not going to wire the train horn to the OEM horn button so the inspector will never know anyway.

Welcome to Indy! I'm up in the northern burbs. Not thought about an air horn, but I always thought it'd be cool to have my horn play the opening riff to the A-Team theme. Duh duh duuuuuh, duh duh daaah....

I took too many Viagra once, this was the picture my Doctor showed me to help alleviate my erection that had lasted longer than 4 hours.

I’m sure it worked like a charm.

Horn in the JT seems loud enough. My TJ however, is extremely weak, I s been considering the Hellas.

I know this thread is a couple of years old, but I thought I'd throw in my two cents in case you're still searching for that ideal horn upgrade, or for anyone else scrolling through older threads with the same question. After a road trip, it really becomes clear what we wish we had in our vehicle, right? If you're looking to make your presence felt without going overboard, there's a variety of options out there. One that I came across recently is the Milwaukee Train Air Horn Quad from https://bosshorn.com . It offers a robust, commanding tone, striking a balance between getting attention and not being overly disruptive.
