? I thought things were cooling down. Guess not.Decided to keep my Mojave and got rid of my 2021 Subaru STI. I was given 10k more for my STI than I paid for it a year ago. Crazy market.

I've toyed with the idea, but won't likely pull the trigger on a trade in/up for a new one.
I really like my JT with all the mods I've done so far.
Tacomas too. I'm selling my 2018 TRDPro for the suggested retail price in 2018. The dealer wouldn't get close to that for a trade. I'll have to pay higher tax (3% in NM) instead of 3% of the difference between the trade and new.The market in my area is still super hot for jeeps. Toying around I called a few dealers and can get close to 55k trade in for my Mojave. Almost makes me want to custom order one with all the bells and whistles and break even on a trade.
Anyone have any recent success stories?
I refuse to require a new sub lol. I have everything I want outside and a hellcat engine.Yeah.... Mine is so close to being exactly what I had in my head.
To start over for what? sway bar disconnects and lockers? Too far down the rabbit hole for me.
Plus....GOBI
Umm, not to rain on your parade but that is NOT the benefit to ordering. When ordering, the benefit is going to one of the dealers listed all over this forum and getting 5-7% below INVOICE (not even MSRP, which would equate to 10-14% below MSRP). You ordered and way over paid, and yes these deals continued all the way through COVID sales surges.I ordered my Blue Jeep Veterans Day last November, and in February when I picked it up all I paid was MSRP + shipping & TTL...that's the best part about ordering. Got $7.5K for my POS 2015 Corolla S Plus w/ 65K miles (had really bad paint problems). For reference, when I paid it off fall of 2020, it was worth $6K with good paint...so getting $7.5K for it was a thrill.
Nope, not at all. My secretary traded in her beat up 2015 equinox with 80k miles and got $12k for it. This should be a 6k dollar car.? I thought things were cooling down. Guess not.
Hmmm well I don’t have the luxury or flying across the country to work out a deal like that. Unless they’d ship it to me and take my trade lmaoUmm, not to rain on your parade but that is NOT the benefit to ordering. Sorry, not trying to be a jerk. Just pointing it out so others don't read it, then just run to any ol' dealer and put an order in at MSRP and think their dealer is doing them a favor. Just want to save some others a lot of bucks.
I want to trade in for one with the safety packages and maybe half doors, but I can't because I want to keep nacho, and it's gone. I miss adaptive cruise control. But I love nacho.Only if Nacho or Punkn come back...
A bit tangential, but I have a JTR coming in July 1, and sold my 2018 Tacoma TRDPro for the 2018 MSRP.The market in my area is still super hot for jeeps.
