I’m looking to add a sub or 2 under the back seat and I’m looking at boxes. The Skar boxes look nice but the airspace on them is much smaller than most subs call for. The ported box for 2 10s would have the correct airspace if it was sealed, and the box for 2 12s only has enough airspace for 1. Is anyone using these with good results?

There’s really not a whole lot of room back there for cubic feet. I can’t even fit my 8s under the seat without lifting it. Just one of those things unfortunately.

There’s plenty of room for adequate airspace for 1 10 ported, 2 10s sealed, or 1 12 sealed. The problem of the Skar boxes aren’t made in those configurations. I’m thinking about buying the 2 10 box and plugging the port to make it a sealed box

I’d love to see how you could fit two Sundown X8s behind the seat, or under the seat for that matter. Some of the lower end stuff fits, but when you start asking for more power the space gets limited quickly. I also can’t stand sealed boxes so that wouldn’t work for me either.

Look into ground shaker boxes, they have a website and they’re on eBay. They have tons of underwear boxes for the gladiator and you don’t have to raise the seat. I used they’re 12inch box and modified it to fit a kicker LT7 and it sounds great to me.
