Did a large multiple search and not seeing what I want. I currently have a single ARB under the master cylinder. It works, but takes 14 minutes to fill the tires from 15psi to 35psi using a 4 tire system.
Looking to do a ARB twin but can not decide on where to mount it. Can not use the Grimm as it will not fit with my American Adventure Lab inner fender liners, so I need to go either inside or bed mount. Inside will have to be under the front drivers seat do to rear seat usage. Dislikes with inside is noise or fear of it, plus having to cut my rear floor liners (could fold them up). Bed mounts, 813 Designs but I can not see how far from the wall do they protrude past the tail gate, will I notice it in that location when just hauling items? I have a tonneau cover so it will be out of the elements per say. Saw one user post about mounting his above the spare tire but have not really seen or heard any long term reports.
So any suggestions and personal use of the areas you have installed would be greatly appreciated.

I like mine being in the bed. I dont do 'truck' stuff - this is more of an adventure vehicle for me so not sure how it would work with a bed full of wood, or garbage, or whatever else. But the 813 panels are pretty solid. I"m actually moving mine forward probably today so will have to take the whole thing apart to do so.

813 bed mount. 100% does not get in the way of bed use.

Ah, that's an important piece of info! Certainly changes the options.
Yeah , kind of forgot to mention that part, does make a difference.

I have an epic kraken under the passenger front seat. I like the solution overall, I don’t think I wheel enough for the compresor noise to bother me, I wear it more like a badge of honor.

I put the Kraken in my sons JLU. Great kit, very well done. Just don't like that you have to depend on your TPMS screen while filling. My TPMS (after market) doesn't update quick enough. Also, if you need to fill just one tire, you will need to setup an additional single feed hose. Just my 2 cents.

I run the Innovate arb twin, air up/down setup. Wired off the batt with oem aux to turn on/off.

Works great, but I have 2 gripes.

The setup has a pressure release that maxes out at 50 psi iirc. Which makes the utility of the comp a bit less. Cant fill high psi truck tires. Its fine for offroad vehicles, but general utility at the workplace is reduced.

2nd, is that you have to have something in both ports to fill anything, either their plug, or a line. Theres a drivers side and passenger interface, and both need something. Its an open style push fitting, so it will just allow air out.

My plans are to install a 3 way valve to bypass the air up/down and have only one output for higher psi fills. Mostly to help people/equipment at work.

The ARB twin takes my four OEM 33" wildpeaks from 15 psi to 35 in (iirc) about 4 min.

I installed the Kraken as well. Although I added 1/8" neoprene washers between the base plate and ARB bolts to help reduce vibration that's not stated in the install instructions. The power cables run through the drain plug hole (cut one of the indents out with a razor blade) under the passenger seat.

I also got the Rhino Tire Inflator gauge and an air blow gun as accessories. I installed 3/8" OD to 1/4" quick connects to the Rhino and air blow gun and picked up an extra 35ft hose found on Amazon for misc. use. I could use one of the hoses it came with, but they are shorter so opted for a 35ft hose. That way I can blow anything up with the pressure gauge with good distance and not use the Kraken just for my own tires.

I'm considering adding another quick connect port and run an extra line to the bed area but for now it gets the job done with the longer hose. It all fits in the Kraken bag. Easy quick setup and storage!

Ok, I ended up going with the 813 Designs under seat mount and I will be installing it under the drivers seat.

I am going to run the air line out to under the hood. I am not familiar with the twin compressor and was wondering how warm or hot does the air line get? I want to run it, steel braided hose through the rubber drain plug but not if it will get warm enough to melt the plug and or the wiring as it will be sharing the same drain hole.

I am not opposed to using a bulk head to pass through the floor board for the air if needed and may end up doing that once I see how everything sits.

the air line will not get warm. Why not just have the hookup from in the cab so you dont have to open the hood to air up? Seems a lot more simple that way.
