It’s your money and your build, but, just consider leather seating over cloth. I’ve had leather seating in all my vehicles over the past 30 years. So much easier to clean, keep clean, and the way manufacturers treat the leather, don’t really have to do much to keep them in really good condition. If it were 20 years ago, then on a jeep, I’d probably reconsider, but not today.

As far as accessories like mopar grab handles, I went to different aftermarket websites and priced equivalent things. I should have just ordered the mopar all weather slush mats as aftermarket aren’t really that much better, and not really that much cheaper.

Hardtop headliner, if you are even slightly comfortable doing projects, I’d go with the CoverKing vs. Mopar. It looks better and provides better insulation for noise and heat.

Cloth and Cold Weather is not an issue

The Mopar Handles will NOT work with a soft top. I believe they use the same attachment points as the soft top hardware.

I have the cold weather package with cloth seats and I love it (nothing against leather, but I live in Texas and that leather gets hot).

I got the front Mopar grab handles 8 months ago as a gift … lots of aftermarket options, but I like that they firmly attach with existing screws and have a little Jeep grille symbol on them. I can’t speak for the rear, but the front set work with the soft top. As far as value… they are a little cheaper in the build configure tool than buying aftermarket (when you add in shipping) so they are worth the add if you want front and rear. I don’t think the rear ones hurt anything, but the pillar grab handles in the rear are not as long a reach as the front, so the front add more value for around $half the price. If you decide not to get them now, they are super easy to add later on.

I’ved lived in Texas for 61 years. Vinyl seats are a no. Cloth seats are fine. I still prefer leather. They are fine in the heat.

I just went out and checked… Toro34 is right about the rear grab handles, it looks like the soft top rail would block the mounting point.

You are right about that vinyl Tom C! I will never forget how hot the red vinyl in my dad’s old station wagon was (especially with no A/C). I also agree that leather isn’t that bad once you get going.

I have the cold weather package in my Overland with the cloth seats. That's the way I ordered it when I ordered it in May of '19. LOVE it....use it all year 'round because it helps with lower back pain. I find it warms up a lot faster than the leather ones that are in my '19 Grand Cherokee Ltd.

I bought my grab handles from Quadratech and they mounted easily. No issues with either the freedom panels (in during the winter) or my SunRunner top (late March to mid/late-October). Plus, they've been a HUGE help in getting in and out since my hip replacement surgeries (right 3/31/23 and left 6/14/23).
