This is exactly what I did - pulled the fuse and then also removed the negative cable from the main battery that goes to the Aux battery.Pulling fuse 42 is a better way to achieve the same results, preventing the electrical separation of the batteries. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/jumperless-aux-battery-pcr-bypass.59836/post-984922
Did this because the Aux battery was killing my brand new main battery. Also have disabled auto stop/start of course. IMHO, this is not a well designed system and totally unnecessary for how and where I drive.
