Closing this question. No. The truck will not allow me to pull it out of park if it's in run but not running. Good thing we have a transfer case we can put in neutral if the truck fails to start and we have to push it somewhere.

This was at night (about 10pm) but I see what you are saying, there is some ambient light in the sky.

I’d like to see this shot with the license plate taped over. I intend to run a different bumper without the lights shining into the camera

Sorry if I missed the answer if it’s been posted but will the pnp harness turn these on when it goes in reverse or will I have to wire them to an aux switch? I don’t really see a downside of them being tied to the reverse.

The optional harness will connect to the reverse light.

For those wanting to connect to AUX switches you would just run cables to the AUX lead. These AUX outputs are bare wires so no way to make a PNP harness for that.

Does your new tailight, when it comes out, going to have backup light capability that is better than stock or about the same? Just wondering if the streamlined taillights might make this setup unnecessary?

Thanks!!

Any plans for an amber light with a strobe feature? Maybe for chase lights or extra hazard lights?

Integrated into this same module? No, no plans for that.

Our tai lights will have very bright reverse lights but these lights are in a lower position which makes the beam functionality a bit different. Both items combined would create very good visibility and not necessarily be redundant.

B ____Just for the sole reason that some States require to have a rear deflector integrated in the rear bumper. And also just looks better.

Any plans to release a version with red LEDs instead of white that would be controlled by a switch? As mentioned previously, I'm more interested in having rear fog/dust lights in that spot than backup lights. Right now it looks like my options for that are to either find the European version rear fog lights and then wire them to a switch, the Vision-X reverse kit with red filter or film on the lights, or your product with a red film added. I would obviously prefer native red LEDs. Your product also looks much cleaner than the Vision-X one.

That was my thinking, but in amber. To use as chase/dust lights or extra hazard lights for break downs.

You can install the reverse lights to a switch if you would like, but at this time we will only have the white LED available. You could look into a red film over the leds too!
