I have these too. My only complaint is every time the ESS does it’s thing, the panel flickers with the engine starting. It’s super annoying. I saw a couple others posts about this a while back with suggestions to connect it to the driver’s side heated seats in the fuse box, but that didn’t help. Others were thinking this would solve the issue because the heated seats don’t turn off and on with the ESS. Otherwise, it works great and blends in well. I would only recommend this option for the price and aesthetic appeal. This is great especially good if you’re not going to use it a lot and need some switches that are easy to install.
What about picking up the circuit with the cig lighter outlet? I don't think that cycles with ess. Or is that what it already ties to? I remember seeing an install video that the signal wire goes to the fuse box but I don't know if it said what circuit it was picking up.

Thanks for the idea! The instructions say to jumper it to the cig outlet (P52), so no dice. :(

I have the Genesis dual battery system on the way. I was thinking this might resolve the issue because the Voswitch will no longer connect to the cranking battery. The problem though is it will still go through the factory fuse box, so it knows not to use power when the engine is off. I’m thinking the problem will still exist.

I might try emailing their tech support.

Interesting. I found this post on the Wrangler forum. Sounds like it’s a known issue and there may be a replacement board to fix the issue.

Couldn't hurt to ask 'em, maybe they'll send you a new box.
