I got the AAL disconnect mount but the placement of the mounting holes don’t exactly match those of the HF disconnect switch. I tried rotating the switch and just couldn’t get the holes to match up enough for the bolts to fit.

Has anyone had this experience or have any tips on how to make this work?
I used a piece of metal flashing that I had laying around. Matched up and drilled holes to fit and sprayed with undercoating.

Meaning you made your own switch mount, right? I'll probably have to just drill bigger holes in the AAL mount that I purchased

I think I had to slightly round out the holes on one side.

The same thing with me.

the spacer came about a week later. I didn’t end up needing it but was still impressed they knew and shipped it out separately without me having to ask or wonder why I only had 1!
Well, at least you got a spacer in the original package. Mine was missing two parts. Before I opened the box, I did get a spacer in the mail. But the parts list showed two needed and I only had the one they shipped separately.

Mine was also missing the fairlead cover plate. I will admit they responded very quickly and said they were shipping both parts to me ASAP. In the meantime, I just cut the original plastic cover plate to cover the front and will install the correct metal one when it arrives.

Spacers were not needed for my installation…

Only wiring left to hook up.

That's exactly what I did - good thing it's a soft metal like a zinc alloy. Cuts easily. (but noisy!)

I really don’t recommend this MP Concepts bumper. The winch plate is garbage so I ordered the Warn winch plate. I went to instal it today and realized that the skid plate design will never allow the Warn winch plate to be installed, even if I didn’t put the skid plate on. I ordered the rubicon skid plate brackets and obscenely expensive hardware and overnight shipping.

I’ve had to re-paint the bumper, order a new $400 winch plate, and now the skid plate hardware. I’ve almost doubled the price of the bumper now. I should have just bought a better bumper. $1350 invested now. That’s just the bumper, not the apex winch or lights or anything.

by the way, did you need to remove your airbox to install the mount?
Yes, it'll make it much easier to install the bracket.

I'm embarrassed to say, that until I saw this, I never checked the clearance on the clutch lever with my newly installed low bar, until this morning. I'll be modifying the handle later this week.

Thankfully, it comes off easily with a set screw.
