I'm 6'3" with longer legs and I don't think the window handle is too uncomfortable. The back seats it seems more of an issue, but I don't have to worry about that.

I went with the Max tow base. Bed liner, tonneau cover and accessories switches $36,464 destination fees included. Gives me a lot of $ left for upgrades. There was nothing in the S level I was interested in. I would'nt change a thing. Love the simple roll up windows. Read complaints if the hitting on knee. I'm 5'10" and my knee doesn't come close to contacting the window handle ever.

I did almost the exact same thing as you. Stuck to the bare essentials and spent money on lift, tires, step bar and a few other upgrades. Couldn't be happier, but will still want to put some lockers and a few other things on it in the future.

I would have went with a Sport Max-Tow w/o power windows or lock and preferred not to have it. My XJ has both nether works worth a darn power locks total dead I have to assist one window rolling up. But after having both on my JT I like it for now. I'll be cussing myself the first time I start having problems with them. My first car had power locks they broke easily if someone shut door to hard, 2nd vehicle had power windows and locks and both was a problem. Turned me off on having them.

I have a Rubicon with the factory Class IV hitch tow package. Glad my dealer ordered them that way. I would never buy a truck that didn't have a factory tow package...Because to me a truck is a truck, it's supposed to be a multipurpose vehicle.

I was disappointed that I couldn't get a trailer brake controller. My dealer told me I'd have to take it "down the road" to the trailer place and have them install one. I saw one on the Jeep website but evidently they aren't available yet.

I got a base model Max tow with a Hard top. No power windows and no powerlocks. I'll be adding the power locks soon for $500 at my local car stereo shop. They said they can add the windows and Locks for around $900 but I'm not to concerned with the windows.

So did you add the after market power door locks? If so, did you end up with an extra transmitter to lock unlock doors?

I haven't done it yet because it's not a priority but yes I will get a extra transmitter to lock unlock doors. This is the kit they will be using when I decide to it

Can you have base sport with max tow and add the cold weather option? I get pretty excited about heated steering wheel but don't really need all the other bells and whistles. I have gotten used to no frills with my work van and think I would be ok with it.

From what I saw on the builder, it looks like you'll have to make it a sport s.

Redarc. Best controller out there for a truck this size and it's cheaper too.

Well, you could go with Redarc - a high-quality controller with GREAT support......... this is the REDARC controller knob/dial with their bezel (purchased from Redarc as a separate item)

Even their top dual function controller is cheaper than the MOPAR unit. There's also their normal one for about $140 (plus or minus, can't recall exact price) MUCH cheaper, either way. High quality, the knob/dial is stronger and is connected using a Cat5 network cable.
