I just put KO3 on my Mojave. Costco has them in stock.

I see these are Load Range E tires and are 10ply where the ones that come on it are Load Range C or 6 ply. The E tires will have stiffer sidewalls to support the extra weight they are designed to carry. Are you loading your truck a lot or towing to move to this load range?

Thats the reason I did not buy these for my raptor when I needed to replace my ko2 this fall. They were only avail in E range, so I went with K02 again. The ride comfort on our jeeps bt C and D load are very noticeable, cannot imagine how stiff E would be on these lighter vehicles.

I’m here in Arizona, so I appreciate the extra sidewall support for flat protection when off road. I do tow my boat and jet skis as well. Honestly, it made the Jeep feel more solid and secure. It’s softer riding than the KO2s I took off and quieter as well. All around a better tire. BFG knows what they are doing.

It probably has to do with which lines are available to switch over production. No sense making molds for 39s sit idle when they could be working.

I just put on 37" KO2's. Would have loved to get some KO3's, but I got these for $1200 and they were take offs on a Bronco Raptor with 500 miles. I'm selling my AT3's tomorrow for $1000. So for less than $500 I went from a 33 to a 37 on day 3 of ownership.

Can't argue with the KO2, especially at that price.

The price was good. Size is good. My only two complaints are they hold small rocks and are not the best in the rain. My last set on my Wrangler had 43K miles and looked new.

I've never had complaints about their wet weather performance, but I also don't see the kind of rain some coastal areas do. Dropping the speed to allow better water evacuation is all it takes - by then most people should be slowing down anyway. My state got rid of safety inspections, so there's a ton of people driving around with bald tires; they are a bigger threat than hydroplaning with good KO2s.

Well I only saw their wet performance in Dallas. Now that I live in St George I've only seen it rain once in 6 months.

Rain bringing all the oil drippings to the surface of the road is the bigger threat there; they build up in the dry season and then mix with the rain to create a slick emulsion that almost no tire will stick to.

I will let you know if it ever rains here. It's insane, but awesome at the same time.

I've seen the desert cloudbursts, "intense" doesn't begin to cover it. One minute it's dry, then someone pours Lake Mead over your windshield.
