There’s a safety factor built into all of these recs. Running 37x12.5 on my stock mojave rims. Ran pizza cutters on my JK and decided to live on the edge. No issues so far.

Between the top of the tire and the inner part of the fender i have about 5-6 inches of space and from side to side i have maybe about 1/2 an in inch of space. I wont be hitting any trails like until the spacer/lift is installed but was curious how well these would fit.

Dude, point is I'm not wrong.

Deal with it.
Your post said they aren't designed to take them so show me where they aren't other than you stating it. That's a false statement, so that would mean you are wrong so you need to deal with that.

Edit: Dude

I just fucking did.

My evidence is no manufacturer recommends a tire over 285 on a 7.5" wheel. NO ONE.

your evidence is you did a thing.

You can wipe your ass with sandpaper to. That doesn't make it a good fucking idea.

I am running 35x12.5x17 on my stock Mojave rims. It came with the equivalent of 33x11.5x17 on it when I bought it. I will, admittedly, only researched on discount’s website before purchase, but under specs, it shows 7.5 inch rim as the minimum rim. Tire rack shows something wider.

Obviously, I should have read the whole thread before posting. Apparently, discount have a history of posting incorrect specs. For reference, tire rack has wider specs for the rims for my tires. I did what I did, and we will see what happens. I do not mean to piss in anyone’s cornflakes, so for those of you arguing, I’m not taking sides. I just posted where I researched and the tires I got without reading the whole thread:)

Toyo Open Country, at 35x11.5 or the Nitto Trail Grapplers (same width) will work with the stock wheel. There is also the Kenda Klever at 35x10.5.

tire height doesn’t really matter its tire width that determines the rim width range. I’m running 35x11.50R17 Toyo Open Country AT3’s on my bone stock Sport S (max tow). It’s stuffed but doesn’t rub.
