Quick question, I have the chance to buy some KO2 315/70/17 tires on JL Rubicon wheels. Will there be an issue on my JT Sport?

Nope. They will fit. That metric size is the equivalent of a 35x12.5 the JL and JT have the same lug pattern, both stock wheels are 7.5 and same offset. Enjoy

I think the tires will rub on a sport with 35's on them. That is, keeping the 7.5 and not going to a 12.5 because it's not lifted like the Rubicon. The 33's fit just fine, but I think you have to take a part off so they won't rub if you go with 35's and keep the stock Rubicon wheels.

Correct, you will need to remove the air dams.

you also have max tow which are 1/2" wider axles on each side, so that's an additional 12mm or 1/2" of offset the sport s do not have...so you'll likely hit the control arms at lock on a sport s going to 12.5" wide tires, so either shim the steering stops or get some coyote 1/2" diecast wheel spacers

to go 37's on sport s with stock wheels (mopar lift) i've had to do both the wheel spacers and the steering stop tuning

Here is my stock height Sport with Rubicon takeoff 285/70/17 & 315/70/17 Bfg’s. No rubbing with the 315’s but it is tight at the front air dam. A leveling kit or Rubicon takeoff suspension would be perfect with the 315’s.

I put 35s on my Sport S, no lift. All I did was take off the extra piece of the bumper that "connects" the fender and bumper.

No rubbing at all, although I have not gone off-road with it yet. I prob won't until I have my metalcloak fenders on, that will give at least another 3-4 inches of clearance.

My future look...do you think these tires will fit the stock 17x17.5 rims while saving some money for new rims? or do I go for 37x12.5 now on stock rims now? Planning to install 2.5" iron rock spacer lift and wheel spacers to get the back spacing needed. I'm not gonna do crazy offroad but a homedepot rig and occasional boat towing...lol
