My initial plan was to build in current 23 Willys Gasser

Jeep Gladiator Bought instead of built Maximus

but then all the Gladiators went on sale and at the end of the day I wanted a Diesel but at the time I couldn't get one because of the Recall. I started looking for a Diesel and couldn't find one with all the options I wanted on it. I happened to come across this one. It has pretty much everything I wanted on as far as options go plus almost everything on it as far as a build goes as well for a heck of a price so I sold my current Gladiator and picked up this one instead. Here is the list of current mods done to it:

UD60 Axles w/ 4.88
3 inch Diesel Adventure-X "No Limits" Long Arm System
Recon DSS
6.5 inch Dual King Coilover Lift
AntiRock Rear Swaybar
Motobilt front and rear fenders
Motobilt Rocker Guard with steps
Warn Evo VR12S winch
Redneck Ram
Steer Smart Drag link and tie rods
KMC Grenade Crawls
42inch Nitto Trail Grapplers,
Spod Bantom
Midland Radio
Decked Rear Storage

I think it looks awesome, and nice find!

I did the same thing with my JT. I wanted a specific combination of options (manual, brown seats, Rubicon, safety packages) that were hard to find a year ago.

Found my JT out of state and used with low mileage and it had a couple problems in the suspension so I got a good price on it. Fixed the issues. So in a way, I bought someone else’s problem, but it all worked out and I’m happy with it. I guess in my case, it’s a little bit of both … bought and built, lol.

Your Gladiator makes my Willys look puny. If I had that I would get a lawn chair, a cooler full of beer and just sit out and look at it all day. That is a magnificent machine. Very well done.

A deal is a deal. Looks great. Now just go through it and make sure shortcuts weren't taken and all of the nuts and bolts are torqued.

Thanks for all comments.

I actually picked it from the shop that built it. He dropped it of there the day before to have them go over everything. The owners of the shop went over everything they did to it with me but I agree with you. It was built by Tanks Customs out of Houston, TX.

It's hard not to just sit and stare at. The pictures don't do it justice. The first time I saw it, I think I just stood there and stared at in amazement.

Yeah, I wanted the diesel with Adaptive Cruise control and couldn't find one anywhere close. I think there were two in Oregon in the High Altitude Package. This one has 28K miles on it. The only real issue is it has no steps on it. The bottom of the door jam is at my hip and I am 5'11 so it is a beast to get in and out of. It will be getting some Rockslide Engineering Steps in the near future. Getting out you just kind of fall out of it.

That is super fine and Tank does great work. It looks like it has enough lift to run 47's. You may be able to adjust the Kings and lose some lift so it can sit lower.

I work around a lot of guys that make a lot of money... like silly money. A lot of them sell their cool stuff for really cheap... and 9/10 times it is because they'd rather sell it to someone for cheap than their soon to be ex-wife sell it for what they said they paid for it.

You know why divorces are so expensive?
Because they're worth it.
