no one reads the manuals any more.................
And the screen even says “Shift to P then shift to desired gear”; these questions about the mysterious AutoPark are almost always accompanied with “searched everywhere”.

Thanks to all for the responses.. also will be investigating the wiring pins .. Frankly, I have had enough of the "Big Brother Watch Over Me" being a "Boomer" we grew up and lived without "Big Brother Gov."
It's the same self-proclaimed "boomers" that also got this country into a lawsuit-happy mindset which brought about all these things that are complained about. Too late to put that toothpaste back in the tube.

Bonus points if they cash social security checks to buy Jeep parts.

Ugh auto park ?

The 2nd day I had my challenger I went to back out of my garage, i didn’t close the door all the way I guess. I got to the street and the car would not drive, I was losing my mind. Neighbor was honking and yelling at me for blocking the alley. ?? I learned after that, boy was that embarrassing.

Hello Gladiator owners... I searched, could not find this on the forum.. When you open the door, backing up, the brakes apply and have to close the door to get to move. Is there a way to disable this when the doors are on ? It doesn't do this when the doors are off.. Appreciate your feedback.
Fasten your seatbelt behind you. While well intended as a safety feature, it’s annoying when trying lean out the door backing up.

Why is it that you all need to open doors to back up? Remember those mirrors? If your mirrors are angled correctly you can back up without having to open a door or even turn your head to look behind you.

But oh no, instead of learning to do it the right way, let us all now invest more money in widgets and spend countless time complaining about something designed to stop people from dying. Then when we get called out on it, claim we are all rugged individualists who don't need the man harshing our groove and big brother can go watch over someone elses shoulder. Good thing you are using the internet, probably from a mobile device otherwise that argument might hold any water.

If you are all so against progression, go out and get an old Willys pickup, you know the only real jeep truck with none of this new fangled gu'bmint mandated anything and quit yer'bitching.

Or just shut the f#ck up and not go on these midlife crisis rants about how you don’t agree with a question or what someone else is doing to THEIR vehicle lol !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I opened my mouth, like some on this forum, my shop would be closed. Instead, I shut the f#ck up and take their money and let them do what they want to their vehicle !!!!!!

This is the first thread where I have seen unfortunate ranting and name calling.

Hope this place doesn't devolve into what the rest of the internet appears to be.

For the brief time I've been here, it has seemed like a pretty nice place to check in and read about our common interests.

Guess time will tell...

My point it more learn to do it right before crying about how a given system keeps screwing you or complaining about problems inherent to the design since the dawn of time.

We also have backup cameras that no one must use either.

It'd hard to see your door catch the garage door track in the camera.

I feel you are greatly misunderstanding the situation here.

I have a dislike for whining about things that are blatantly designed to save lives. Ive pulled too many people off too many windshields, cut too many cars apart and sadly seen enough people die because of things like not wearing seatbelts, drinking and driving, driving too fast for conditions etc.

So I'm gonna heckle when I see crying and whining about oh this evil feature, oh it's so onerous, why oh why... ask the family who recently lost a child on the rubicon about a jeep rolling, ask them if they would have liked the autopark option.
